Natasha's POV

It's been days since I talked to August and I haven't been in the best mood. He hasn't called me and I refuse to reach out to him first. It's Tuesday and I dreaded this day because Sky, Cash, August and I meet up for dinner. I looked down at the incoming text message and sighed when I read it.

Sky: Augs house this time. Normal time. 1:43 pm.

Without replying, I rolled over and dozed off.

August POV

"Whatchu' call me hea' about that we can't discuss over tha' phone." I asked Turk.

"We have a problem."

"Aite..." I waited for him to finish.

" You've been outbidded."

"What?"

"The girl you looking for, somebody put up two hundred stacks today. Tha' person don't know she already a target but since I'm doing you a favor I just thought you should know."

"Well what I gotta do? I'a put up some mo' money. I need ha' brought to me." I stressed pointing at myself.

"Nah no more money, cause it won't matter. Right now it's all a matter of who gon' get to her first. I just thought you should know Youngin'."

"Shit!" I pamled my head. " Turk, I need ya' mans ta' get on his job bruh. Tell 'em if she not brought to me soon, the job is no good."

"I gotchu'." He nodded.

Natasha's POV

(7 hours later)

I parked in August driveway and took a deep breath before getting out. I did not want to be here right now.

"Let me just get this over with." I thought.

I rung the door bell and when the door opened, August appeared.

"Wussup ma'?" He placed a kiss on my forehead.

"Hey." I walked in.

"Sky and Cash out inna' back. Ima' finish cooking."

I nodded as he disappeared into the kitchen. My blood began boiling thinking about how he's been ignoring me and how now, he's acting as if nothing happened. After putting my tote in his bedroom in my normal spot, I headed outside to the deck to join Cash and Sky.

"You crazy as hell. Cowboys garbage as hell! Last time they won championships was '95!" Cash yelled.

"Whatever nigga, stop hating." She smacked her lips, poking them out.

"Y'all stay arguing." I chuckled shaking my head. "Wussup big head." I kissed Cash cheek. " Heeeey bitch!" I hugged Sky.

They both greeted me back as I took a seat at the round glass table with them.

"I'an think you was gon' come afta' what happened." Cash said.

"What?" I looked confused.

"Aah! Why you kick me." He frowned at Sky.

"Uwww look at you!" Sky changed the subject. " Did they hurt?" She referred to my boobs.

"Not really. I was sore for about four days, that's it. I still can't believe I went through with it."
