"If they do, I'm bringing one back wid me." I stared at the picture.
"Shannon ah kick yo ass and make you take that bitch right back whea' you got it." He laughed hard.
"When you gon get a bitch and get off me an' mines?"

I crept up the hallway to see what "business"they had to discuss. I'm tired of August keeping secrets from me! I'm pregnant with his child.

I had heard enough! I knew he was cheating on me! I stood there as tears filled my eyes. How could he do this to me?
When his Aunt died and he didn't have anybody, I was there! When he was sick, I took care of him!
I'm pregnant with his baby and he's out here giving away what we share. Its ok, cause I got something for his ass.

"Na Na! You want some Alfredo?!!" I yelled to her.
"Yea! Put some shrimp and chicken in it! "
I shook my head cause I had already did that. She is so spoiled. That's my best friend tho. Hell she damn near my sister.
I took her under my wing when her grandmother passed and we been inseparable every since.
I watched her blossom into a beautiful 26 year old woman. I was only 4 years older than her but her knowledge and maturity put her on the same level as me.
Zeeeep, Zeeep.
My work phone vibrated and I answered it without checking the number.
"Talk."
"I have new flowers for you."
"Where?" I asked.
"You have to pick up the seeds first. Escobar Gutierrez has them."
"When?"
"One week."
"Am I only planting his flowers?" I asked.
"Yes, but if there's flowers in the way, dig them up."
"How much do they cost?"
"300 dollars."
"It will be done." I hung up the phone.
I made my way in the living room to Na Na smiling. I handed her the bowl of Alfredo and sat down.
"We have another job."
"When and who?" She rolled her eyes.
"Escobar. A week."
"Escobar as in Escobar Gutierrez?!"
"Yep." I said popping the p.
"How the fuck are we gonna do that!"
"I don't know, but for 300 thousand I'm sure we will figure it out."
She drooped her fork.
"300 THOUSAND!"
I smiled.
"Yep."
