I have redone my hair at least fifty times at this point, it looks fine each time, but I don''t want to look fine tonight, I want to look amazing. As I pull down the hem of my sky blue skater dress, I begin to get nervous. What if this isn't the right outfit? What if this is a totally casual date?
I freeze in front of the mirror when there's a knock on the door. I smooth the skirt of my dress, fluff my hair one last time and open the door. I'm relieved to see that Harry is wearing a dark gray dress shirt and black jeans. He's holding a bouquet of flowers and holds them out to me. I reach for them and bring them to my nose. "Thank you."
As we walk down the hall of the dormitory Harry looks at me and I immdietly get sucked in by the emeralds that take the place of his eyes. "You know," he begins,"those directions you texted me to your dorm weren't exactly clear. I almost got lost." I look up at him, nervously. His smiles at me brighter than ever and lightly nudges me in the shoulder. "Relax, I'm teasing." I giggle and he opens the door of his car for me.

Dinner is lovely. This restaurant is very beautiful. Big, sparkling chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and a live harp player. Not to mention the food, which is possibly the best I've ever had. I begin to wonder how Harry could afford this, and my mouth speaks before my brain can catch up.
"How can you afford this? Don't get me wrong, it's amazing but it must be so expensive." He looks at me and the candles on the table make his eyes more intriguing than ever. "My mum is friends with the owner. He's actually originally from England so..." I nod and silently scold myself for asking such a dumb question. After moments of silence, Harry speaks.
"Claire, I know we hardly know each other at all, but I want you to know that, I don't really know what to say other than, well, I really, really, like you." I stare at him for a moment before speaking. I take in the flawless shape of his jawline, the way his mouth is pressed in a straight line out of nervousness and the way the bright color of his eyes contrasts so well with the dark brown of his hair. "I do too, really like you." The nerves in his eyes vanish and a beautiful, dimpled smile takes over his face. He reaches over the table and takes my hand in his.

Harry's POV
As I walk her to her door, I can't help but smile. Tonight was amazing, better than amazing. She is so beautiful and we just talked. We talked about philosophy, and she told me about her family and how her grandmother lives with her mother and father. I told her about my life growing up in Holmes Chapel and how my parents got divorced when I was young and about my older sister Gemma. She just stared intently at me as I spoke and the beauty of her eyes and way the corners of her mouth would go up slightly when I would laugh at a memory made me almost forget whatever I was talking about.
When we reach her door, she turns around and meets her eyes with mine. "Bye, Harry. I had a wonderful time." Instead of answering, I take a step closer to her. Her blue eyes grow wide as I press my lips to hers. She relaxes after a few seconds and brings her soft hands to my face. The spark when our lips touch is indescribable. I pull away and look down at her. "Bye, Claire." I smile at her and she returns it.

I turn the nob on the door to find a studying Louis. He looks up at me and grins. "By the way your lips are pink and swollen, I assume your date went pretty well?" I roll my eyes at him and begin to unbutton my shirt. "You should've seen her tonight, Lou. She was absolutely stunning and she's so smart." He sits up and places his books on the desk. "I'll agree on the stunning part," I turn around. "Watch it," I warn.
He laughs,"I was just fucking with you, I'm perfectly happy with Christine." I pull the sleeves down my arms and throw it in the hamper by the closet. "Good, because Claire is off limits." He nods and laughs."Gotcha."
