I wake up way too early to the buzzing of my phone on the table. I warily stretch out my arm, grabbing the phone and looking at the screen. It's a call from Harry. I slide the my finger across, answering the call.
"Hello?" I ask, my voice raspy from sleep. "Get in a bathing suit and come outside. I've pulled the car around," Harry says. I sit up and rub my eyes. "What are you talking about?" He chuckles softly through the phone. "We're going to the beach. Now get yourself in the smallest bikini you've got and get out here," and with that, he hangs up.
I laugh and leap out of bed, suddenly excited. I rummage through my dresser, pulling out the only bikini I have. It's a plain black string bikini, and what I'm sure will be to Harry's liking, it's rather small. I put my hair into a pony tail and pull on a sundress over my suit, grabbing my phone, bag, and quickly brushing my teeth before making my way outside.
Harry's car is parked by the curb and all the windows are rolled down. I can see his face, he's smiling. His hair is in a bun and he's wearing a white t-shirt and gray swim trunks. Wow, he looks great. I pull open the passenger door and climb in. Harry kisses my cheek and I smile.
"Ready?" He asks and I nod, buckling my seat belt. It's times like this when I forget why I ever doubt my relationship with Harry. I wonder why I ever thought that this wouldn't work. We are so good together, so good.
The very short drive to the beach is filled with none other than Coldplay. Harry hums along, as do I. He pulls onto a gravel road, parking the car. "Come on," he says, grabbing my hand as he leads me down to the beach.
It's been a while since I've made time to come down here, and it's beautiful. There's a slight breeze and the sun is bright. I'm amazed when I don't see any other people here.
"Thanks for taking me here, it was a lovely surprise," I lean into his side. He kisses the top of my head. "Of course," he says as he lets go of me, lifting his shirt over his head. I study his stomach, observing every little detail of the tattoos there. He smiles at this, stepping closer to me and taking my hands, resting them on his hard, bare chest.
His green eyes stare deeply into mine and every single moment passes more perfect than the next. He then removes my hands from his body, lifting my dress over my head. His eyes rake up and down my body and his lower lip is between his teeth.
I swiftly grab his hand and start running towards the water, leaving our bags and clothes on the warm sand. The water is cold when it first covers my feet. Harry hisses when it touches him and then laughs. We walk deeper and deeper until I'm up to my hips.
He holds his arms open and I walk into them. His embrace is snug and secure. "I don't ever want to let you go," he whispers so softly, as if he doesn't want me to hear. I decide not to respond.
Instead, I break away quickly, splashing water all over Harry. His mouth falls open, his eyes widening. "Oh, you're gonna get it now!" He yells, playfully. I screech as he begins to chase me through the water, the two of us splashing at each other.
He stops and grins brightly. "We needed this," he says. I walk to him, running my fingers across the top of the bright blue water. "Yeah, we did," I agree. He grabs my hips like he's done before, pulling me into him. Kisses cover my jawline before reaching my lips. Harry's hands grab under my thighs, hoisting me up. I wrap my legs around his waist.
I thread my fingers through his long hair, slowly dragging them down his neck. He lets out a moan as he begins to walk out of the water onto the sand, still holding me.
We move to where our things are sat, our lips still connected. He kneels down, laying me against the sand on my back. He props himself up on top of me, his elbows on either side of my shoulders. "I love you," he says. "I love you," I say back before our lips crash once again.

Harry's POV~
We just lay there, our bodies close on top of the warm LA sand. Claire's blonde hair is wet and sticky on top of my bare chest. Her slim body is delicate against mine and I can feel her every breath.
She tilts her head up to look at me. "Today was perfect," she says. I smile, pulling her up beside me. "It's not over yet," I say kissing her forehead. She nods, resting a hand on her stomach. "I missed us," she whispers. "Me too," I say.
We slowly get up, lazily putting on our clothes and walking to the car. "I wish that didn't have to end," she says, climbing into the seat. "It was a lovely day."
We drive back to campus silently, but it's a comfortable silence, a silence that doesn't leave me feeling empty. She's staring contently out the window as we pull up to her dormitory. "I could come in if you want?" I offer with a grin.
Claire rolls her eyes and smiles at me. "Nice try, but I have assignments to work on," she says. I nod, winking, and she waves me off. I drive the short distance it takes to get to my dorm. Walking inside I can already hear Louis' voice. I wonder who he's talking to.
I open the door, finding Louis and Andy, laughing. "Hey?" I say, confused. "Hey, mate! Andy here was just telling me about a party she went to a few weeks ago and some guy-"
"Don't care," I cut him off and he smirks. I smile at him and he turns to Andy. "Need something?" I ask, grabbing a clean shirt to wear. She shakes her head. "Just wanting someone to hang out with. Louis helped with that."
She stands up, waving at Louis. "I'm going now," and she walks out the door. Louis widens his eyes at me. "Why didn't you tell me about her? She's hot at funny and cool and-," he stops himself, shaking his head. I laugh.
"You fancy her?" I ask, and Louis blushes. "Fuck you," he says, opening a book, hoping to take the attention away from him. "What did you do all day?" He asks, eyes glued to a page. "Spent it with Claire. We went to the beach," I say. He smiles. "Claire in a bikini? Sounds like it was a good day."
I flip him off, glaring at him and he chuckles. "Hey, have you heard about Bennett's trial?" Louis asks, and my stomach drops. I shake my head. "No, and I don't want to."
"Well, I'll jut tell you he got a pretty long sentence," he continues. I turn to him, my jaw clenched. "I told you, I don't want to hear it," I say, as calm as possible. "Sorry, still a sensitive subject I'm guessing," Lou says, putting his attention back to the book he's reading.
I quickly change my shirt and lay on my bed. Terrible visions begin to creep into my mind, almost like a nightmare, but I'm not asleep.
Bennett is holding a girl against a bed. She's kicking trying to scream but he covers her mouth, slowly unbuttoning her jeans. I see the girl's face then. It's Claire.
I pinch my eyes shut, hoping that the terrible thought will go away forever. If Claire had been the girl, I would've gone insane. No one, I mean no one, will touch her like that, ever. Not when's she with me.
When's she's mine, which hopefully is forever, she's protected. As long as I'm with her, she will be safe. I'll do anything in my power to keep her well, and I'm not afraid to prove it.
