Claire's POV~
I wake up late, deciding that today I'll stay in, just relax. Last night might be considered a bump in the road for Harry and I, but I'm letting it go. I've overcome so many things with him, that this the whole England thing shouldn't matter too much. I'm too in love with him to let this shake us.
Am I hurt? Maybe. Should I be? Probably? Am I going to let it affect our relationship? No. It's time I put on a brave face.
I pick up my phone and scroll through songs to listen to when I hear a knock on the door. I lazily get out of bed, throwing my mangled hair into a high ponytail and opening the door.
Aubrey is standing there, perfectly straight, lips a bright shade of red, hair curled into perfect ringlets and a huge smile on her face. "Good morning!" She squeals, pushing past me and walking into my room, her height increased by the bright blue pumps she's wearing.
"What are you doing here?" I yawn, rubbing my eyes. "Well, since we're on the journey of mending our friendship, I thought we could go shopping! You know, like we used to!" She says, jumping up and down.
"Maybe another time, Aubrey, but today I'm just too tired," I say, walking back to my bed. "Oh come on, Claire! Please?" She bats her long eyelashes at me and I can't help but release a giggle. "No, sorry. Another time, I promise," I tell her, lifting the covers over me once again.
"Oh fine, but you owe me!" She says, winking as she leaves. I sigh, picking my phone up once again. A text from Harry lights up the screen. "Can we meet up?" It reads. I reply with,"Come to my dorm?" Within seconds, he responds with,"On my way."
I wait patiently on my bed, not bothering to get dressed. Without a knock, the door opens and Harry steps inside. His hair is up in a bun, black skinny jeans hug his legs, those brown suede boots on his feet and a white t-shirt covers his stomach and chest, only showing the top of the swallows tattooed there.
"Morning," he says, standing in the middle of the room, awkwardly. "Morning," I respond. He rubs the back of his neck, glancing in a million different directions. "What did you want to meet up for?" I finally ask, breaking the tension. His emerald eyes meet mine, piercing me.
"I just wanted to apologize-," he begins but I interrupt. "Harry, it's fine. I'm moving on from it," I say, trying to show a smile to reassure him, even if it's not sincere. He furrows his eyebrows and licks his pink lips.
"Really?" He asks, stuffing his hands into his pockets. I nod, standing and walking in front of him. A sigh escapes my lips before I say,"Really."
The corners of his lips twitch up into a smirk and he says,"Prove it." My heart races at the sound of the words I haven't heard in a while. I lean up, planting a small kiss on his mouth, leaving him with a cheeky grin.
"Thank you," he says, grabbing my hands. He rubs my palms, his thumbs forming small circles. "Well, I have to go. I'm having lunch with Louis." I smile, nodding. He kisses my cheek and gives me one last grin before walking out the door.
I plop down on my bed, my head lowered. Why do I feel so exhausted? It's like making sure that Harry and I are on good terms uses up all my energy. I need this to work though, even if I have to fight a little. He's worth it.
Right?

Harry's POV~
I walk away from Claire's room with a feeling of resolve. I was expecting a fight, an argument, yelling and tears. Instead, she was calm and forgiving.
Although, I did notice a look in her eyes. They weren't as lively and bright a they usually are, but she said everything was fine, so I'm taking her word for it.
I stop at the coffee stand, ordering a latte and taking it back to my room. Louis is sitting on his bed, holding his phone with a huge grin on his face. "Andy?" I ask, releasing my hair from its bun.
Louis glares at me but can't help a smile. "Fuck off," he says, putting his phone aside. I put my hands up in defense. "Just a guess," I say, causing his cheeks to deepen in color.
"Hey, so everything okay with Claire now?" He asks, pulling an Adidas sweatshirt over his head. I nod with a smile,"I think so, Lou. I think she's it. She's the one."
Louis' eyes widen and his jaw drops. "What the fuck are you talking about?" He says loudly, looking at me like I've grown a second head. "I mean, I can't imagine my life without her, or with anyone else," I clarify, sipping on my coffee. "What's it to you anyway?"
He closes his mouth, shrugging. "I don't know, I guess I just think you're too young to say shit like that." It hits me then, if I think I'm ready to say that I want to spend the rest of my life with Claire, I can sure as hell take her to England with me. I just have to wait for the right time to ask her again.
"Whatever, Lou," I say with a chuckle. Louis shakes his head and says,"I don't understand you sometimes, Harry, I swear." I laugh again, finishing my coffee and throwing it away.
I get the idea to pull out my phone and text my sister, Gemma. "Hello Gem! Tell mum I may be coming home soon, and there's someone I want her to meet," I type and hit send. The message alone lifts weight off my shoulders that I didn't even realize was there.
I lean back onto the small frame of my bed, kicking my feet up. I know she's the one, whether I'm too young to 'say shit like that' or not, I know it's the truth.
I'm so deeply in love with Claire Hoffman, and I fall harder every day. She's the one and only thing I desire, and I hurts me to even let the thought in of losing her for good.
I can tell she feels the same way, even if she wouldn't say it. Neither of us have ever experienced a love so strong. Sure, we've had our ups and downs, but every good love story needs a little bit of dejection, in order for the story to go on.
