These five words in my head scream. Will you marry me again? Will you marry me again?

What do I want? Where will this go? Can we go back to the way we were? Can things ever be the same?

I'm sitting, well laying, there shocked. Riki's staring at me earnestly, with gentle eyes and a small smile, awaiting my answer.

I can feel the tears pool in my eyes an all I can get out is a strangled "Riki...."

"Alaina. Even if you tell me no or can't give me an answer now, I will wait for you. I will wait for however long it takes. We can wait for this. In fact, we don't even have to do this at all if you don't want to. I just want to be with you."

That's it. That's all I want. I don't want strings attached. I smile and grab his hand gently when he goes to put the ring back on his chain. "Yes......yes Riki yes I will marry you." I giggle. "Again."

His eyes light up, brighter than they've been these past few days. "Alaina..." He breathes out my name as he slips the ring on my left ring finger. He then kisses it. "I love you. Forever and always, until the end." He leans his forehead against mine and kisses me ever so gently.

"I....love....you.....too." I look into his eyes that are filled with tears and a fire so bright and warm that my worries dissipate in a second.

"I was an idiot and I'm never letting you go again."

"Yes you were." I say mercilessly and he looks down. "And I won't let you let me go." I lift his head up as I say this, and give him a gentle kiss in return. We kiss until my stomach growls. Way to ruin the moment, basic survival needs.

"Dammit." I murmur sheepishly, blushing as Riki laughs. I glance at my muffin and now cold coffee, forgotten in the heat of the moment.

I slip out the bed and put his shirt on, and go and grab my food and drink. Riki wolf-whistles as I do so. I ball up a napkin and throw it, bouncing it off of his head, causing him to pout. "Haha. You deserve it." I then tear into my muffin.
