"Ugh. My eyes!" Riki pulls away as Takuto groans and hides his face. His movement causes Wendy to wake and she looks up and then looks at us. When she sees that I'm awake she smiles and then blushes as she sees my smirk.

"So are you two a thing or what?"

"Sh-shut u-u-up!" They both sputtered out at once and blushed even deeper.

Riki laughs and the door opens. Blondie's head pops in. "SHE'S UP! SHE'S UP!" She squeals and runs in, pushing Riki aside, as she hugs me.

"Oof! Watch the leg! Jesus woman!"

I hear En's voice even though I can't see him through Samantha's blonde hair. "Dude, her best friend has been out cold for five days and she hasn't had any sleep. Cut her some slack." Riki grumbles something back that I don't catch.

As Blondie pulls back I ask, "I've been out for five days?"

"Yea." Takuto responds. "When we found you, you were in a puddle of blood and......"

"And what?"

".....And you weren't breathing..."

Riki looks up, horrified. "You never told me that!!"

"Because Wendy brought her back."

"But you-"

"Wendy, Takuto.....Thank you. Is.....Is Ryu....?" I choke despite myself.

"Yes" Wendy answers quietly, even though her eyes are blazing.

"How's Kaylee and Kenshi." Panic hits me when I remember how bad they looked.

"They are both fine." Blondie answers me. "Kaylee lost a lot of blood. She needed a transplant but her and Hiro have the same blood type so the transplant worked. She should be out soon. Kenshi's temporarily confined to a hospital bed with broken ribs so Kelly is in there with him. Atsumu is switching between the two rooms."

I nod and look to Wendy. "And your dad?"

"Fine. He's resting in the next room. Speaking of which, I need to go check on him." She exits the room, Takuto following her.

"Well I'll be damned. He certainly is possessive." They all laugh at that.

Riki reaches out and takes my hand. I see Blondie smirk and shove En out of the room, who looks slightly confused. Thanks Sis.

"You had me spooked for a minute there Alaina."

I move my hand to his cheek. "You scared me too. You made Takuto looked tan." He frowned at that. "What?" I look at him in concern.

"I......I couldn't save you. I couldn't do anything."

"Riki-"

"No! I'm useless. I couldn't even escape by my-"

"STOP!" He goes quiet, shocked at my outburst. "Riki, when he shot me and then I fired back, I accepted that I was going to die. I knew that you would live and that he wouldn't bother you again and that's the only thing that mattered. I accepted that there was no way out. But here I am. I don't care how, but I am....And so are you....."

He looks at me an then leans in. I meet his lips and close my eyes. It's a gentle fleeting kiss. When he pulls away, he presses his forehead to mine, eyes still closed.

"I love you...." He whispers just loud enough for me to hear.

"I love you too." I kiss him gently again, reaching up and cupping his face in my hands.

He opens his eyes. Those steel grey eyes that captured my heart. That see into my soul. That are my everything. I found my heart. They are in those eyes.
