Chapter 5

I give him an awkward hug back. "Nice to see you too, Takuto." I giggle, still shocked that he actually came up and hugged me. He steps back a little, blushing.

"Ah! So it was you at the aquarium!" Hiro says as he basically tackles me in a rib crushing hug.

"Yes it was. And apparently, it was you guys. I'd have said something, but I actually wasn't really sure it was y'all." The biggest thing that has changed about me, thankfully, is the fact that I can lie now.

"Really, come on now? Five, hot Japanese men, and you don't realize it was us." Boss whines. Everyone turns and looks at him.

I hear Takuto mumble,"Don't you mean four and an old beardy?" I try my hardest not to laugh while Hiro is rolling by now.

"Well," I start trying to salvage this conversation,"you'd be sur-*muffled talking*"

Dammit, she got me! Blondie decides to pop in now. "Actually, she has hot guys taking an interest in her all the time."

"Oh yea!" Kelly pops in. "Some guy is always hounding her. Hehe, and yet she doesn't go out with any of them!"

"Great," I say as I get her hand off of my mouth,"we are back to talking about my nonexistent love life."

"So," Blondie continues,"it makes sense why she didn't say anything-because of the possibility that it wasn't y'all and one of her 'admirers' . Oh and by the way, Samantha Jameson's the name, disguises the game!"

"I'm Silver Tongue Kelly Smith. I could talk a lawyer out of a bag of money."

"I'm the tech boy, Enrique Julio Hernandez, but just call me En. I'm the lawyer she talked out of a bag of money."

"Little Miss Dance-a-Lot here is Kaylee Holmes and the woman could hear a leaf fall to the ground from over a mile away. She might not talk, but she is the best look-out and my right-hand." I say, introducing Kaylee,as the guys look around at us.

"What about you?" Kenshi asks and ruffles my hair.

"Well I'm th-"

"She's the super accurate no-kill sniper/watchdog/strong arm. The woman has single handedly taken down a whole gang of bikers with no weapons!" Blondie interjects with a smile.

"....." All five of them,even Riki who had been looking everywhere but me, stare at me.

"Yeah more or less. Don't worry about it though. Go ahead and introduce yourselves!" I tell them nonchalantly.

Hiro steps forward,"~I'm Hiro Sarashina and I work with undercover and appraising art! And this Tsundere is our hacker Takkun Hirukawa!~"

"DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

"I'm Kenshi Inagaki. Firefighter by day, thief by night."

"I'm Atsumu Kashiwabara. I'm the boss of The Black Foxes."

They turn and look at Riki. This is gonna be interesting.... I wonder how they will react when he introduces himself. Blondie might just kill him. Hehe.

"Riki Yanase. Leader of The Black Foxes." He says, but it seems like he's lost his confidence or just doesn't really care anymore.

I've got to hand it to Kelly and En. They stayed calm and En subtly glanced at me. Red was looking at me in concern. Not that I blame her, not after I just about bared my soul to her a few months back, when I was going through a depression faze, because of that damn dream about him. I told her everything about him, except for The Black Fox part. Blondie though...well, needless to say she reacted like I thought she would.

"You jack-*muffled shouting*"

"Hey!" I take a commanding tone. "You weren't there and it's done and over with, so shut up about it. I've moved on and I'm sure he has too."

She relaxes a little under my grip and I let her go.

"They know?" Riki looks at me,kinda sadly. I cross my arms and shift on my feet. "They know that we were engaged and then it ended. That's all."

By now it seemed that everyone but me was uncomfortable.

CLAP CLAP! "Are we just gonna stand around like a bunch of uncomfortable middle schoolers at their first dance, or are we gonna discuss this mission?!" I ask as pretty much everyone is looking down at their shoes.

Kelly laughed and shook her head. "You're right. Come on, everyone lets get down to business."

"Silver Tongue is right." Boss says as he follows her into the back room. I don't wait for anyone else as I follow.
