"I want to quit...."I said,my voice choking in my throat.
"You can't..The children.. Jamillah loves you"Lorenzo said
"I can't keep doing this... I'm sorry"I said
"Do you like me?"Lorenzo asked
"She is lucky to have you..."I said and walked off.
"Wait... Natasha, follow me"Lorenzo said and I followed him.
He took me to his office and pulled out a cheque.
"5 million dollars...Start a new life... I'm sorry for anything"he said
"I don't need it"I said
"It's the least I could do"he said and I took it.
"Thank you"I said.
"When do you leave?"he asked
"Tomorrow..After the kids go to school"I said and walked away with a heavy heart.
Staying here was going to make me keep falling.
The next day....
Jamillah POV
Something was wrong. There was something suspicious going on.
"Good morning Darling"Dad said and pecked my cheeks.
"Aunt Nat... I'll come back soon okay... We'll play together"I said
"We will"she said
"Promise?"I said
"Pinky promise"she said and hugged me as Apollo and I left.
Natasha POV
"You don't have to go"he said.
"I do.... I'm sorry"I said.
Lorenzo POV
Maybe it was hard to watch her go. I need a bottle of tequila.
She walked out of those doors and I knew that was it.
1 hour later......
Someone knocked on my door.
"Natasha,is that you?"I asked
"No.... Dumbass, it's me your sister"Chiara said and stepped in.
"You're wasted"she said and I laughed.
"Snap out of it....Where is Claire?"she said
"She's dead...."I answered amused.
"Stupid boy...Come in,Sir Monteyo...."she said and a man entered.
"Who the hell is this?"I asked
"This is Sir Monteyo...He is a detective..one of the best...Well I had a feeling Natasha was Claire so I hired a detective"Chiara said
"Nice to meet you sir.... Your sister hired me to find information about a lady called Natasha....Well your wife never died....The water washed her to a coastal town...There she was raised by an old man..She lost her memory..When the old man died she relocated to the city for a better life...The old man called her Natasha"Monteyo said.
"I have significant proof......A sample of her hair was cut of by Mrs. Chiara here and it was tested...It matched perfectly"Monteyo said
"No..It can't be"I took the test paper.
It matched.....no..no..no....
"But I saw her dead body"I said
"It was fake....It was a plot by your father..."Monteyo said.
"Father was the one who forced me into this relationship"I said
"Father is a wicked man...I hope you are aware of that"Chiara said.
I needed my Claire back.
