I opened my eyelids slowly. I looked around. I was in a hospital room.
What happened?
"You are awake..How do you feel?"Lorenzo said and I looked at him.
"What happened?"I said
"You should have just told me you had a fear of heights...You scared me"he said
"Really?"I asked and he blushed.
"Well you scared Jamillah more"he said and I smiled.
"Let me call the doctor"he said.
1 week later....
The kids were still with Chiara and I was sent back home.
It was only Lorenzo and I in the mansion.
I went to the garden and sat down deep in thought when I heard some rustling beside me. Lorenzo had sat down.
"Hello"I said nervously.
"It's beautiful...The garden...It was for her"Lorenzo said and I looked at him.
"Who is she? Is she your late wife?"I asked
"Yes...Her name was Adele...She was so beautiful...She looked like you...Oh God,her voice,her smile she was perfect...and I loved her"he said with such love.
"What happened to her?"I asked
"She left me....She died"he said with sorrow and I put my hand on his shoulder.
"I'm sure she is watching wherever she is... I'm sure she also loves you"I said
"Where did you get the necklace from?"he asked looking at me intently.
"My grandfather gave it to me"I said.
