We arrived at the amusement park. The kids were up by then. We got down and the kids squealed.
"Heaven?"Apollo screamed and I laughed.
"Dummy..This isn't heaven"Jamillah said.
We passed by stalls and Jamillah pointed to a shop.
"Dad,I want that dolly"Jamillah yelped and her father nodded.
We walked up to the shop.
"I want that doll"Lorenzo said
"Well this is free..but you have to shoot the target first"the man said and Lorenzo nodded and took the toy gun.
"Wait no dad,teach aunt nat how to shoot it"Jamillah said
"Yes..yes"Apollo said
Plan is in motion.
"Oh... I'm not very.."I said protesting.
"It's fine...Kids and their wishes"Lorenzo said and gave me the toy gun.
He held my hand and I could feel his breath on my neck. My skin was getting hot just be his evasive touch.
He pushed my hand to pull the trigger and it hit the target directly.
"Yes..."Jamillah said and took the big doll in her hand.
I fixed my hair and avoided Lorenzo's gaze.
We later stopped at a cotton candy place.
"I want all the flavours"Apollo said and I laughed.
"Dad, buy some for aunt nat too"Jamillah said and I looked at her suspiciously.
This girl was up to something.
"What flavor do you want?"Lorenzo asked.
"Strawberry"I said and he nodded.
As we were eating it,a woman came over to us with a bouquet of flowers.
"Why don't you get your wife a beautiful rose?"the lady said
"I'm not his wi..."I said but before I could complete my sentence he took one and gave it to me.
I looked at the rose and took it. I put it in my hair.
"Thank you"I said
"It's fine"he said and we heard a loud groan.
"Dad, compliment her"Jamillah said
"Oh..You look beautiful..It suits you"Lorenzo said and I noticed his face turned a deep shade of red.
"Why do I feel like the teacher here ugh?"Jamillah said and Apollo cutely laughed.
