"Hello? I said answering the phone
"Wassup ma" a familiar voice said
"Oh hey dd, how'd you get my number?"
"Don't worry about it, I was wondering if you tryna hang tomorrow"
"Hang? Where"
"Ionk maybe the movies"
"Movies? How about we go to an arc...
"Come on Lanni you got it" I clapped, "come on lani" dd said.
We were talking to lani who was in the living room with us having tummy time. She kept moving and she was so close to rolling.
"you got it lanni" dd said, "SHE DID IT!" I smiled, "good job baby" I said holding her.
"My baby so smart" dd smiled, "she is isn't she" I said looking at her.
I put her in her bouncer and brought her play mat in her room. I came back into the kitchen and sat in the barstools getting on my laptop.
"what you looking at" dd asked, "Amazon, veah halloween costume comes tomorrow" I said.
"oh, did you get lanni one" he asked, "yeah it comes the 27th" I answered.
Mylanni started crying and dd went and picked her up. "What's wrong mami" he said holding her. He's a good dad.
"She's probably tired" I said, "you tired, aww" he said kissing her. "go get that blanket so we can take a nap" I said.
I walked to my room, and he came in behind me with the blanket. I turned on Tinker bell and we all layer in the bed.
After like 20 minutes I looked over and saw Lanni and dd asleep.

I took a picture and posted it to my Instagram story. I ended up turning the tv off and falling asleep too.
3 hours later...
I woke up alone in the bed a few hours later. I checked my phone and saw it was 5:04. I walked out my room and saw dd on the couch scrolling in his phone.
"Hey" I said, "what's up" he said back. "Can you take lanni for the night" I asked.
"yeah, but why, you going out" he asked, "boy mind your business" I laughed.
"but if you must know I have a date" I said pouring some cranberry juice in my cup.
"a date?" he said scrunching up his face, "with who" he said standing up.
"Tray" I said taking a sip, "ion know a tray" dd said.
"You don't need to know him" I said, "no" he responded. "No what?" I said, "no you not going" he said.
"You can't decide that" I said walking to my room. "Your ass don't need to be out in the streets" he said.
"A date isn't the streets" I said, "yo stop playing with me" he said. "David get out I've got to get ready" I said.
"fine, but I need to see what you wearing before you leave" and he walked out the room. I rolled my eyes and started getting ready.
I showered and got dressed, then straightened my hair.
