"Aww she looks so cute" I said as I took pictures of lanni in her Halloween costume. "ay mi nieta" DD's mom said.
I had driven there so me and Dd could take lanni and neveah trick or treating. You don't take kids trick or treating in Sugarhill.
"I look so cute too" Neveah said, "of course you do you're such a pretty princess" I said.
"Let's see your princess twirl" dd said, neveah did a little spin. "So pretty" he said giving her a hug. He's so sweet

I didn't put on a costume because I was way too old for that, and it is way too cold outside.
"Alright is Amiri coming" I asked dd, "nah Melz said his dad gon pick him up and take him.
"Alright, Veah go grab your basket and let's go" I said. Neveah went to grab her basket and dd stood up.
dd put lani in her stroller and they went outside to go house to house. "Ok veah go up and say trick or treat" she said as they walked up to the neighbors house.
"Trick or treat" Neveah and dd said, "well hi there, you're a very pretty princess" the old lady who opened the door said.
"Thank you", "here get as many as you'd like" she said and neveah took 3 pieces and stood next to me.
"Oh, are you trick or treating too?" The lady asked dd making me laugh a little bit. "Yes" he smiled.
"Oh... uhm here" she said putting a piece of candy in the basket he held and closed the door.
"Are you kidding me?" He said as we walked off, "a tootsie roll" he said with a straight face making me laugh.
"That's what your grown ass get" I said, "now put my baby candy down" I said. "You know you gon eat this shit yourself" he said.
"Yes I am" I said, we walked up to the next house and got some candy.
"You still talk to that boy you went on a date with" dd asked me, "yeah" I said.
"Look, Look I got Swedish fish" Neveah said running up to us. "Wow that's so cool" I smiled.
Neveah started walking with two other little girls that were infront of us and started talking to them.
"Do you still talk to Janae" I said, "yeah" dd said, "oh" I said.
"She can't come to Neveahs birthday party" I said. "Why not" dd said kind of hushed so neveah wouldn't hear.
"Because Nailea told me how she had to slap her while I was at B.E.T" I said while lifting the thin blanket that was over lanni's stroller to make sure she was still asleep.
"I didn't know she was gonna say that" dd shrugged, "why do you do that" I said getting annoyed.
"Do what" he said, "let her disrespect me and everyone else around her, you'd think I cheated on you and not the other way around" I said.
"Avery don't start that" dd said trying to wave me off. "I didn't start anything dd you did, you started it the moment you started treating me like shit" I said.
"Look Avery I don't want to get into this shit with lanni right here" he said. "Nai literally slapped Janae infront of her, Janae disrespected me infront of her, so I don't think that's why you don't want to have this conversation" I said.
"Alright bru whatever" he said, we walked in silence for the next couple of houses.
We turned around and went back to dads moms house.
"How was it?" DD's mom smiled as we walked in. "Not good. I've got to go" I said grabbing my purse off the couch and walking out.
