"Avery please don't let him"

I'm currently ar DDot and Leah's apartment, me and Leah were booked for an online interview together.

"Leah come on we have to join now" I screamed to her since she was in the bathroom. "I'm coming" she said.

I tapped the link and sat down adjusting the camera. Leah came in and sat next to me and we entered the call with our interviewer.

"Are you guys ready?" The interviewer asked us, "yeah" we said in sync, "great let's get started."

"Hey everyone! My names Stacy from the Stacy Evans show and I'm here to interview the hot topics, Avery and Leah" she said.

"Hey everyone, I'm Avery" I said, "and I'm Leah and we're really excited" She said.

"Great I have a few questions for you guys so Avery, at a point last year you had said you were stopping music for a while. After a few months you came back releasing a song with your then ex boyfriend DD Osama, how was that transition?" Stacy asked.

"The transition going back to music wasn't really hard, but it felt different than I was used to it feeling. I stopped music because I need time for myself, and I was doing so many things at once it was becoming stressful and no longer fun.

But I took that time off to regain my passion and kind of get my life together so when I came back I felt like I didn't know what to do. But DD helped me with my nerves and we ended up freestyling a song the same day" I said.

"That's amazing Avery, Leah you haven't released music in almost two years. Your fans really want to know if there's any coming soon and if so why have you stooped making music for so long" Stacy asked.

"Well actually I quit music. I like music but it just isn't what I want to do for the rest of my life. I like doing things more visually artistic like drawing, photography and things like that.

And a while ago I really got into designing nails and so that's what I want to do. I've still been practicing but in a few months I do plan to open my own nail studio" Leah said.

"Wow Leah that sounds amazing, I glad to hear you're doing what makes you happy. Being sisters in the industry, do you guys get compared a lot?" She asked.

"All the time" I said, "yeah like she'd post a picture in a red shirt, and then I would and people will be like "who wore the red shirt better" like it's just a shirt" Leah said.

"Yeah people definitely love comparing us in all aspects, but we're different and we learn and grow differently so we don't let it affect us" I said.

"Great response girls I love that! Avery you and DD Osama have gotten back together and moved in together. We know you two share a baby girl named Mylanni, how is life having a baby so young" Stacy asked.

"I mean it's definitely different from before but I think we've adjusted perfectly. With mylanni there's a lot more drive to do things.

Like before if I didn't want to do anything I didn't have to because my actions were only really affecting me and things.

But now I have to think like, "I need to keep making more and more money so I can get mylanni whatever she wants" or save money for her trust fund, things like that.

And even though I'm young it's not any harder than it is for other moms. The only thing is like I'm busier but I always make sure I have time for my baby" I smiled.

"I absolutely understand that, Leah how does it feel having a little niece" Stacy asked.

"It's so great, I love Mylanni so much. She's so funny, one night I was babysitting and she was arguing with DDot about her going to bed. DDot kept telling her to lay down and she just kept saying "No you fucking bitch" it was hilarious" Leah said laughing.

"That is so funny! Avery you made a shocked face when she said that, is that news to you?" Stacy asked.

"Yes, I did not know about that" I laughed. After Stacy asked us a few more questions she closed the interview and we closed the computer.

"I'm hungry, do you want me to order food?" Leah asked me, "yeah hold on I need to blow my nose." I said.

I went the bathroom and blew my nose and when I went to throw it in the little trash can, the one thing inside of it caught my eye.

I grabbed a piece of tissue and grabbed it, it was a pregnancy test with two lines through it, she's pregnant.

"AVERY GET YOUR ASS HERE!" I said, I usually never talked to her like that but fuck no. "what? Why the fuck are you calling my name like that?" She said walking towards me.

"what the fuck is this?" I said pointing at the test, when she saw it I could tell she was shocked I found it.

"Avery I-" "I knew you and DDot were probably having sex but I expected you to be more careful than this" I said.

"I didn't plan for this to happen Avery, I don't know what to do" she said.

"Were you guys even using protection?" I asked her, "I- uh- sometimes yeah."

"Oh my god Leah I thought you were so much smarter than this, what are you going to do with a baby?" I said.

"That's not fair, you have mylanni and when that happened I didn't judge you" Leah said, she was now crying.

"That's not the fucking same, mylanni is my baby but I was never actually pregnant. dd and DDot are going on tour next month, what are you gonna do then?

you're going to be here pregnant and alone. And you know I always have your back but you're just not ready. You have money and things but you and ddot aren't ready.

y'all have a great relationship going and things but you still have childish views, like hiding this from me. You don't post on YouTube anymore so you have no income from there.

You don't make music anymore, and you don't have a job. You have this Nail tech gig but starting a business cost lots of money and ddots not gonna just hand it to you. what were you gonna do?" I asked.

"I don't know, I was gonna figure it out" Leah cried. "Leah dd and I weren't ready for mylanni because we didn't know about it.

You have the ability to be a great women, you turn 18 in a few months so you'll be a legal adult. You have time to figure it out but you and DDot need a real plan.

And not to make it worse but what's dad gonna think when he tell him?" I asked, "we can't tell him" she said.

"Leah we have to, he's gonna find out eventually and I wouldnt be surprised if he moves you back to Chicago" I said.

"Avery please don't let him" she cried, "Leah I love you" I said hugging her, "and I'm sorry for being like this I just really want you to get it" I said.
