"Don't worry about it, I was wondering if you tryna hang tomorrow"

"Movies? How about we go to an arc...
"Lanni wake up baby" I said slightly shaking her, "hmm" she said. "you ready to go get daddy?" I asked her.
I felt her instantly wake up, "daddy!" She smiled. "He's coming home today so we're gonna go get him stuff and then pick him up" I said.
"Okay" she smiled, I got us both dressed and in the car so we could go to the Mall.

"Mommy let's get this" lanni said pointing to a pack of Oreos, "lanni is that for you or daddy" I asked her "both."
"Do you think daddy wants more compression shirts?" I asked lanni, "me don't know what that is" she said.
"Oh, I'll get them anyway" I said putting them in my cart. "Lanni which card do you want to get daddy" "uhm, that one" she said pointing at one with a zebra on it.
I grabbed it and added it to the basket and went to bath and body works. I picked up three colognes, and a set of body wash and lotion then walked to the next store.
I grabbed him two different colored spider hoodies. "Mommy let's get him this stuffie" lanni said pointing at a brown bear.
"Okay lanni we'll get it" I said and I handed it to her. I added a few of his favorite candies and snacks. I grabbed him some more joggers and hats.
I went to footlocker and got him three new pairs of Jordan's. I grabbed a couple more things for him and then we left the mall.
We got to the car and I buckled lanni up and started putting the things in a gift bag. I sat it in the back seats then got in the car.
The airport was two hours away from the mall so by the time we were pulling up lanni was already asleep.
"Lanni baby wake up" I said looking at her through my rear view as I slowly drove through the gates.
"is daddy here" she asked rubbing her eyes, "no but he's standing right there" I said pointing at him standing outside.
He spotted the car and I popped the trunk so he could put his bag in the trunk. "DADDY!" Lanni yelled as the trunk opened.
