I, fortunately, landed in a bush but hit my arm a little too hard since there was a bruise already developing on my elbow.
At least I landed in the bushes.
I looked at my arm to make sure that it wasn't broken or anything and surprisingly it was fine just a bruise.
Well, that's just great.
I got up and brushed myself off of twigs and leaves. Once I was done I grabbed the basket and started making my way to the woods.
I can't go home or he'll just drag me back to his house.
I decided that it would be better if I went to a different village and started a new life since it wasn't safe for me in Mistaca anymore. I kept walking following the winding route but it wasn't easy since you could hardly see it.
If I make it to my special spot then I can follow a different trail that's easier to see.
After a while of walking, I saw the meadow come into view. Once I was there I saw two figures in the distance. I decided to try and get a little closer to try and make out who they were, because if it ended up being Ethan I would be in big trouble. As I got closer I noticed that it was two familiar females that I knew.
"EMERALD! SPARROW!" I yelled as I ran as fast as I could to them.
"Y/N!" they both yelled in unison as they ran to me.
Once we got to one another we hugged for what I wished was forever.
"Where have you been?" Emerald asked with a frown.
"Yeah, we were so worried about you!" Sparrow added.
"Ethan kidnapped me a few days ago," I said while letting go of the two girls. "But I managed to escape!"
After I said that the two started asking me a million questions.
"When?"
"Did he do anything to you?"
"How did you get away?"
"Okay, okay I know you both have a lot of questions but we need to get going," I said while walking to the woods. "Before Ethan finds out that I'm gone."
"Okay..." they sighed.
We walked to the trail that would take us to the nearest village.

"So what happened?" Sparrow asked as she followed me.
"Well, I went to the ball and then I woke up at his place." I summarized what happened as best I could.
"How did you get away?" this time Emerald asked the question.
"I jumped out a window-" I was interrupted by them yelling. "WHAT?!"
"I'm fine." I let out.
"Well if you say so," Sparrow spoke quietly. "But be careful."
"SHE JUMPED OUT A WINDOW I DON'T THINK SHE IS FINE!" Emerald yelled while scaring some birds.
