I woke up to something, no more like someone poking my cheek.
What time is it? It's too early for this!
I tiredly opened my eyes and was greeted by Ruby and Scarlett poking and prodding my face.
"Mommy we're hungry!" Ruby said as she continued to poke at my face.
"Yeah!" Scarlett agreed as she also poked my face.
"Where is your father?" I asked tiredly while sitting up so they could stop poking me.
"He said to tell you that he needed to go to work today and will be back later this afternoon," Scarlett explained while Ruby started rolling around on mine and Ethan's bed. "Can you make us food?"
"Of course," I said while getting up so I could go make breakfast for them. "Let's go get food in your tummies."
"Mommy I've never seen that outfit before, where did it come from?" Ruby asked once she finally stopped rolling around on the bed.

"Your dad got it for me yesterday when he was out," I lied as I led the girls out of the room. "Now it's time for breakfast!"
"YAY!" they both yelled cheerfully while running downstairs to the kitchen.
That was close, Ethan DID get me this but it was a birthday gift like 8 years ago. So I didn't lie I just stretched the truth.
Once I finally made it downstairs I started making breakfast for all of us. I decided to make something not too fancy but still enjoyable.

"Wow, Mommy this looks amazing!" Scarlett and Ruby said as they started diving into the food like it was the first time they had ever eaten in their lives.
"I'm glad you girls like it!" I smiled as I cleaned up the mess that I made when I was cooking.
