Chapter 16 - Recovery

"Mila has a serious heart condition," The doctor said.

Mila's POV

I woke up my vision blurry. I was confused and my head hurt a lot. My whole body was numb. Every move I did it felt like knives stabbing into me. My vision soon became clearer making me realize I am in the hospital. I look around the room to see nobody in the room with me. I am hooked up to a machine that checks my heart rate and a bunch of objects along with that.

I look around to see that I have nothing with me. I don't remember how I got here in the first place but I am super curious. I can't move so I look around with my head trying to find something to tell me exactly why I am here. All I found was some flowers and some water. The flowers looked like a gift from someone so I grabbed them.

It was a letter from Mason. I smelt the flowers which smelt amazing but like they have been in here for a little while. I should be on set by now and filming my scene.

"Mila you are awake" The doctor came in surprised.

"Yeah, I have been for a little bit now," I say.

"I hate to be the one to tell you this but you have been in a coma for the past week," The doctor said taking a seat.

I couldn't process of what his words just spoke out of his mouth. Why the fuck am I in a coma? at this point, I have so many questions. Is Eamon alright? I stare at the wall deep in my thought. I feel numb and have no emotions at this point. By this point, I should have filmed the scene with Mason and me. I am hoping that it will be postponed because of what has happened.
