Centuries ago, when the earth was new, there was peace. Each creature thrived in harmony, each witch and human lived alongside each other without strife. Strung high in the sky like lanterns perched the Sun and Moon, their magnificence illuminating the land below.
Everything was perfect.
Until war broke out, dividing the people, turning everyone against one another.
In desperation, the Moon and Sun sacrificed a piece of themselves, offering it to the dying land. With these fragments, a state of neutrality blanketed Oakenvale, and what was lost slowly healed over time.
However, not all returned to what it once was.
From there on out, the witches and humans separated, divvying every mile, every island, to the point nothing was left unclaimed.
The rules were simple.Do not participate in any interactions with those of another kind.
Now, decades later, a new storm brews throughout the unsuspecting citizens of Oakenvale. Tensions begin to rise, although not all hope is lost.
Somewhere, as legend is told, there are two amulets. Clasped on these necklaces are the nearly forgotten stones that the Sun and the Moon deposited so long ago only the earth remembers.
The tale states that such artifacts might arise to the surface once again, in the time their power is needed most.
With corruption beginning to spread through each and every witch of the seven covens, the amulets awaken. Now, the two chosen by the last witches of Oakenvale must learn their ways in order to save the scraps of what remains.
