Spitfire oneshot collection

Cheating...?

"Recognized: Artemis, B-07," Artemis' silhouette appears in the zeta, a hand on her hip moodily.

"Hey, babe." Wally says without looking up from the computer screen that he and Dick were looking at. Artemis purses her lips. That dense asshole! Did he honestly think he was going to get away from this?

"Wally." Artemis growls, roughly shoving an old photo album into his hands. "Explain. Now."

"What?" Wally asks quizzically, blowing dust off the cover so he could read the title. "Shit..."

"Yeah, 'shit'," Artemis frowns. "Explain why I found this on the kitchen table, Wallace."

"I-I uh, I was looking at it..." Wally answers meekly.

"Open it." Artemis orders.

"What- no, I-I..." Wally protests.

"Open it!" Artemis practically yells at him.

Wally opens it, sets it down on the table, and Dick looks over his shoulder. Dick's eyes widen in concern for his best pal.

"Dude, you're so dead. Why did you even keep that?" Dick asks incredulously. Wally shakes his head.

"Artemis, I'm sorry." He whispers.

"Who is that girl?" Artemis snarls, grabbing the album and pointing to a picture. The picture had a redheaded, freckled, grinning boy probably about fourteen- obviously Wally- with his arm around a small black haired girl with a pencil behind her ear. Artemis flushed angrily.

"Linda," Wally explains. "She was my old girlfriend before I met you. She moved to Kansas and broke up with me since the long distance thing wasn't working out."

Artemis' gaze softens. "Wally, why were you looking at it then?"

"I found it in the closet," Wally says. "I swear, I don't like her anymore. I just found it and looked at it."

"You're not cheating on me, right?" Artemis asks slowly.

Wally grabs her arm and pulls her closer to him, pressing their foreheads together. He stares into her eyes.

"No, beautiful." Wally whispers. "How could I ever do that?"

"E-even if Linda moved back?" Artemis gasps, putting her arms around his neck.

"No, never." Wally tells her. "Baby, you are so much better than her in every way. You're my spitfire, remember?"

"Yes," Artemis nods, and pecks his lips. "Sorry I freaked out,"

"It's fine," Wally smiles, and kisses her softly, but they quickly break apart when someone clears their throat behind them.

"Uh, guys- I'm still here." Dick frowns.

Author's notes: Yeah, really sappy. And YES, Linda was in this cause I still find her and Wally's relationship cute in the comics. (that doesn't mean I like it better than Spitfire, tho. ;D)

On the topic of Wally's ships in the DC universes, I have no problem with Flinx (Wally and Jinx) from teen titans either. I just like Spitfire the most. BY A LOT. Spitfire is definitely the best! >:)
