A/N: This seems like a Hallmark movie. -_-

Artemis runs away from their house. She needed to get away from him. She loved him with all her heart, but she had to say no. She wheezes as she runs out of breath, collapsing against a brick alleyway wall. Where was she, exactly?
She surveys the area and finds a street sign. South Street. Huh. It sounded familiar, but for reasons unknown to Artemis.
Suddenly, Artemis feels a raindrop falling on her face. She finds a lone phone booth and sits down inside, trying to keep warm by her coat.
Dammit. It HAD to be raining and in the middle of March. Artemis was freezing, and her only source of
warmth was her thin jacket.
Damn that Wally. Dammit, dammit, dammit.
*************
Wally was curled up on the couch with Nelson, feeling empty inside. Her last kiss still lingered on his lips, like a reminder of how good it used to be before it went downhill. Before Wally had asked that stupid question and tried to give her that stupid ring. Everything was stupid. Stupid him, stupid love, stupid happy endings, stupid weddings, stupid decisions, stupid WOMEN.
Wally felt tears threatening to fall, but he blinked to keep them from spilling over. Nelson wriggled in his arms, and somehow got free. He bounded over to the kitchen, and began to eat.
Wally felt like hell. He didn't want to do anything. Just lie on the couch forever and mope, eventually rotting down to a heartbroken corpse.
Nelson barks when Wally's cell phone rings. Wally sits straight up from surprise and groggily goes over to the counter where it was ringing. He grabbed it and flipped it open, not even bothering to look at the caller I.D. It was probably Dick, asking how the question had gone.
"Hello?" He asks hoarsely.
**************
"Wally, I've been stupid. I've made some dumb decisions in my life and I wanna change them. If you'll let me." Artemis speaks into the payphone as rain pounded on the booth from outside. "The reason I said no is because I was scared. Not of you, but of dedicating myself to you entirely. I'm not ready to make that decision yet. I was frightened that I wouldn't be able to dedicate myself to you, if that makes any sense.
"Wally, I KNOW I want to be with you forever. Its just- forever is a long time. And stuff may happen between now and then when we make that decision.
"Don't be mad, Wally. I know I love you. I'm insecure and selfish, as you've said before. Selfish for thinking that my many concerns were the most important thing in my life, and insecure for not being sure of many things in my life. One of those things being you, Wallace.
"I think you're meant for me. And if you'll just somehow forgive me for this-" Artemis' voice falters when the kind payphone voice reminds her to insert more money for more time.
"Artemis," Wally whispers into the phone, and that's when Artemis sees it. A small figure with an umbrella emerging out of the rain, with bright red hair.
Artemis gasps and opens the phone booth door, going outside to greet him. She runs over to him and buries her face in his chest. He scoops her up in his arms and Artemis wraps her arms around his neck. He casts the umbrella aside as he carries Artemis bridal-style.
"Artemis," He breathes softly, his lips only millimeters away from hers.
Artemis grabs his face and kisses him. They don't even care that they're both soaking wet. Wally breaks them apart and Artemis grins faintly.
"Hey, Baywatch."
"Yeah?"
"I'll marry you."
