In the last few weeks, we visited Omashu and found one of Aang's old friends Bumi, who was the cities ruler. And after that, we met an earthbender around our age named Haru. His father and other earth benders were captured by Fire Nation soldiers and Katara helped free them, but she lost her necklace in the process. And now we were soaring through mountains and canyons above the clouds, the air was warm and trees were blooming all around. The only person not at peace was Aang. He had gotten a vision, or visit, from Avatar Roku where he basically said that Aang had to master all four elements before Sozins Comet arrived in the summer. He was under a lot of pressure, and was pacing on the back of Appa.
"Would you sit down?" Sokka hollered to the airbender. "If we hit a bump you'll go flying off! What's bugging you anyway?" He was sitting in the front holding the bison's reigns in each hand.
"It's what Avatar Roku said. I'm supposed to master all four elements before that comet."
"Well let's see." The Water Tribe boy scratched his chin. "You've mastered airbending, and that took you only a hundred and twelve years. I'm sure you can master three more elements by next summer." He smirked at Aang, trying to lighten the mood with humor.
"I haven't even started waterbending and we're still weeks away from the North Pole!" He put his hands on his head and rubbed his temples. "What am I gonna do?!"
I sat up from my laying position to yell at Sokka. "You're not helping! Don't stress the poor kid out." He threw his hands up as if he were innocent.
Katara grabbed Aang's hand and pulled him to sit down next to her. "Hey, it's going to be fine. If you want, I can teach you some of the little stuff I taught myself." She offered with a smile.
"Really! You'd do that?"
She nodded. "We'd have to find a good source of water first." She crawled over to the edge of the saddle and peeked over to look at the view.
"Yeah, let's find a nice puddle for you two to splash in." Sokka teased.
We found a beautiful water fall, with almost an entire lake of blue crystal-like water. We had no idea where we were, but the warmer weather and cool water source was enough to lighten the mood.
"So what am I supposed to do?" Sokka asked as he awkwardly stood before the group.
"You could... get the gunk out between Appa's toes!" Aang suggested as he held out a long brush made of leaves and a stick.
"So while you guys play in the water I get to work."
"Yep."
He stared at Aang. "And what about Nara?"
"Watch you." I answered with an innocent smile. The water Tribe boy rolled his eyes before snatching the brush and motioning at me to follow him. He got onto the bison's stomach and began scrubbing his feet as I spotted a perfect, flat and smooth rock to relax on.
I pulled the ribbon out of my strawberry blonde hair and let it all the way down. My actual length was past my waist, but I learned to collect it all in that braid bun so it was out of my face.
"Ugh finally, somewhere to wind down that isn't on top of a giant fluffy bison." I exclaimed as I took off my hood and unbuttoned my yellow shirt. Under the shirt revealed a cropped tank top, and I gently set my clothes next to me before calmly laying on the rock with my hands behind my neck.
"Yeah. Relaxing." Sokka replied in a sarcastic tone as he scrubbed harder.
I chuckled. "We'll take turns Sokka, I wouldn't just leave all of the work to you. Don't worry."
