"Really? At 14?" I asked.
"Uh..Yeah we have serious Issues that Even young ones have to Train" he grinned. "Well isn't that wonderful. Yep, nope!"
"Wha- huh?"
"Yeah no. I think going home would be great for me!"
"But- But what about The demons? What about Spiritual Warfare?"
"Tch, and so what? It's not my problem"
His expression was starting to change, almost as if he tried to keep his flame eyes from showing. "But- But!"
"Look, all of this is great. But No! I'm not doing This! Mom is gonna Kill me, If I get Killed"
"...Fine. I see if I can contact your mother, but you still have to stay here"
"And if I don't?"
"The Dog angels will Toss you to the Pit"
"I'm sorry-"
"Yes basically the Bad Place"
Well that Traumatized me. "Ahaha! You can't be serious."
He began to glare. "You know what. I think You need to meet a friend. The last person I know who can shape you into obedience"
"Sounds rough"
"Well you make it rough" he Came back. "I'm sending you To see Gabriel"
"Ga-
Ahaha!" I couldn't believe it, "No. You're not serious. That messenger Angel?- I can't believe—"
"Don't be foolish. He isn't the Light Hearted, soft spoken Angel your Movies in the Human realm Portray him as. He is impatient, mean, Direct, and Tolerates no Mumbo- Jumbo"
I shrug, "Sounds like a nice guy"
Barachiel just sighed, "Please De Meath. Please, Joel already hasn't told me where she put my Basket and Staff...I don't know what I do if I didn't have them during coming battles"
"Whatever. Fine I'll go"
He lit up (not literally, thank Goodness) "really?!"
"Yeah Yeah, fine."
"Oooh Thank You! Thank you! I hug you if I didn't know if I burn you"
"How about let's not hug" I recommend. "Besides, we just met. What else is there to know about this Place and you?"
"Well this Realm Is Counterpart or Opposite Of Another realm—"
I nearly Flipped when I walked up the stairs, "I'm Sorry! Did you just say there are more realms like this one?"
I also noticed he didn't bring up anything about himself but I didn't mind, "Yes. It's called the Demon realm"
"Hold up—"
"Uh yeah. Short story, The demons traveled over there evolved to be a little tamed and friendler. Here, they aren't tamed at all and the Good Majority are evil. Hacking, oppressing, and imperializing our Towns and cities long before the empress here Disappeared. The Demon Realm also has a little more discrimination against Angels After an Emperor took hold 50 years ago."
"Where I come from, that's Called racism."
"Yeah- Uhh- ahem..yeah" he kinda frowned. "I mean It is a place of Witches as well, and A lot of witches get the misconception that Angels Hate witches so yeah. Another heart Issue sadly"
"Ughhh, this is like a Mirror of our world" I say.
Barachiel made a face, "...Barchiel?-"
"Actually that is correct"
I could've fallen down the stairs but I managed to get myself to immediately get upstairs. Right before Barachiel came behind me.
"Before you Go. You need to change your clothes-
"I'm sorry?"
He nervously grinned but began to Look at my outfit, not too pleased. "Uhh..Yeah, Ahem..You humans have no sense of fashion these days."
I cringed, "Are you serious? you look like Freaking Mozart in that coat-"
"But don't worry! We have traditional Female clothing somewhere Around here."
"Are you giving me your Mom's Clothes? Oh wait—"
He looked at me, then awkwardly scratched his head. "Uhh..No. We..Don't have mothers..Or sisters..Or anyone"
I didn't know if I Wanted to burst out laughing or genuinely feel bad for the Guy. Mom was Hard but she is all I had. Imagine having no Mom or Dad for Billions of years. Yikes.
"Here you go!" He handed me over the dress and Shoes as soon as he came back from the Closet.
I found the bathroom (why they even have those if they have no Bodies I have no idea). And came back out wearing what resembled a white Pollera with a black layer coat that had small golden stones, along with white shoes. "Fun fact!" Barachiel Added, "Many Angelic Cultures were inspired by Human Cultures during the times we visited and vice versa. Especially the Indiegious ones"
"But yeah. We made our own spin to it. You look lovely!" He snapped his fingers and As I looked at myself in the mirror, my hair changed into a neat curly Ponytail. "Huh.." Not my usual style but I had to admit it was pretty cool.
"Great, now for sure you'll be fine for the citizens. Now! Chop Chop! Find Gabriel for me, and Ask him where my staff and basket is."
"Why don't you just go find him yourself?"
"I would but I have other Business to attend to. If you run into any Demons, just Call out my name and I'll be at your aid. However, If I don't reply, use This Bowl"
"Seriously?"
"Yes. These are in incantations to Bind Demons. If It ever breaks, don't worry, Just know the demons name and you will be able to Bind it yourself through the Great One"
"I'm sorry?-"
"Blessing! And Oh Yeah, try not to run into Joel On your way because you are wearing her wardrobe"
"I'M SORRY?-"
And being the Angel he is, he flashes away. Great.
I just realized I got tricked with a Nice neat style just to do his thing first. Yet he said he was gonna help me. But then I thought, ohhh..Yeah wait he is letting me think for myself. Duh. Gabriel is the messenger.
I was stupid. If he tells me I am getting a Basket and Staff, He'll tell me how to get back if it's ever lost.
"Well Here I go, I guess," I muttered. Hopefully being able to walk in my white Heels.
