FREDDIE'S POV

Finally the night got a little bit tough. One of the girls, after being pushed briskly by accident, had banged her head so hard. She kept saying she felt fine and it was just a knock but Rudi insisted to take her himself to the nearest hospital to get her checked up. Getting a bump in the head was dangerous and though you might not feel anything wrong, as the hours passed by, it might appear some serious risks like blood clots that could make things harder. An innocent hit in such a delicate spot like the head could mean a tragic ending.

- I'm sorry, Freddie. We gotta stop the shooting. Come back home and we'll talk in the morning and we can decide what to do next -the Austrian told me fixing up hurriedly things to go.

- Don't be ridiculous, darling. I'm going with you to the hospital.

- Katya is alright. It's just a check-up to ease our minds.

- That's why I'm going too, to ease my mind.

- Freddie, I don't think it's a great idea. Do you know how many people are in the hospital? And everybody knows you here, you will feel uncomfortable.

- I don't give a damn. The girl's health is the only thing that matters.

- Perhaps we will be all night long under observation.

- Well, I will stay there till everything is fixed up.

My date with Jim looked less and less nice and I tried to persuade him to go home and sleep some hours before going to work. One thing was staying to watch a shooting video and another going with me to a hospital. But he insisted he didn't mind and pleased me again. That sexy Irish whom I seemed to handle at my will, never disappointed me. On the opposite, he was full of surprises looking so harmless and though so masculine. So related to my tastes. In short, so yummy.

The experience in the hospital was a little upsetting as expected. Similar to many other times before when someone came up to me to sign an autograph as I was lifting my fork to my mouth in a restaurant. Or when I was walking on street. It was a public place and I already was used to focus the attention and people could ask me autographs and photos. It was part of my job.

We spent some hours there and it was an inconvenience to our schedule shooting. Nobody knew Rudi but all the nurses around spellbound looked at him and he managed to one of them allowed him to use the phone as much as he needed at the nurse's station.

That long haired guy with naughty angel blue eyes had been trained in classic music but was a passionate of rock and roll. He had studied Journalism, Politics and Law though what he really loved was standing behind the cameras. He started in the video industry at 17 and apart from working as freelancer for Kurier, Wiener and Basta he also worked in TV. I loved having this Austrian always available for me. He was not only a liked-minded man but also one of those who didn't seem to get stressed with the usual mishaps within a shooting. One thing was the plans and another one a successful plan. And he never lost his temper. In short, he was solid and reliable and I wanted to work with him as much as possible. And besides not any director would have escorted the girl to the hospital. I always liked the people who surrounded me were kind-hearted people. And he surely was.
