WISHFUL-THINKER10 'S POV

- What you are suggesting is totally crazy, Arlene. My advice is letting Eli alone to take care of her pregnancy quietly in 2022 and don't put pressure on her about what is happening here.

I couldn't deny Amandine's words once again were wise. Wiser than I could admit. But I was speaking thru my heart once again. Eli was always on my mind, one way or another. Lately she came around with some kind of guilty feeling about the dark episode in Brazil with Freddie. I kept telling myself, I didn't betray her, my loyalty was as strong as ever. But... Gosh, my tormented mind. I needed to express her my love and how much I missed her.

- I don't mean to overwhelm her with our troubles, just easing her pain. I'm sure she's missing her son and it's not so crazy they can meet thru Turn back the Time's Skype.

- It would only serve to make them both suffer. It's better Farrokh can keep his mother's memory as it is.

- Do you mean as though she was dead and he couldn't see her again?

- He knows she's not dead. I'd never talked to him about her to not make him sad but whenever he asks about Eli, I always tell him that he's always in her mind and that she will return sooner than he expects.

- He could see her and Eli could see how big and gorgeus he looks. I think it could be the most important birthday present he can get from the mountain of them he got the other day. I know her, I know she feels very low forcing to be apart from him. She practically was every single day with him since he was born. I can't imagine how does it feel being forced to leave your own child behind but I can put myself on her shoes and I want to ease her pain. She's my dear friend, for Christ sake.

- Arlene, I'm telling you again. Farrokh is going to feel confused seeing her mother through a smartphone. I don't think it's gonna be a gratifying experience for him. Besides... he tells everything to Freddie. Do you want him to tell him he has spoken to his mother through a strange thing?

- Freddie will put it down to his amazing imagination, there's no risk.

- What do you want to reply him when he's gonna ask you where his mother is? Are you gonna tell him she's inside a phone? Or in the future? It's mad

- Do you know what it means being separated from your mother for so long? Try to get into his shoes.

- I'm doing it. I've been away from my mother since ages and it hurts so much...

- There you have it.

- I'm still thinking it's such a risky decision and won't benefit any of them. Have you translated the real time that would pass by in 1985 during Eli's pregnancy in 2021-2022?

- No. But I'm sure you have done.

- Of course I did. 7 months in 2021 would be 122 years in our time. That's the difference time between those two periods. It's far-fetched. We shouldn't be in contact, I mean these two periods. Just thinking of it makes me anxious.
