'How much longer do we have to walk?' Pearl whined for the umpteenth time.
'Just a little bit longer, we're nearing the city borders,' Seonghwa answered, sighing as he saw the sun that was beginning to set already. 'We need a place to rest now though, it's getting dark.' he looked back at the two, pointing at a clearing not too far from where they were standing.
With that, the three began doing their assigned tasks diligently. Seonghwa set up the Hammocks, Wooyoung gathered food and checked for potential threats, mistaking a vine for a snake while at it and almost setting the whole forest on fire, and Pearl was there for emotional support.
'I don't think that would be a good idea.' Seonghwa commented when he saw Wooyoung trying to light up the fire.
'Do you want to become the family dinner of a random pack of wolves then?' Wooyoung was appalled by the stupidity the spy had spouted.
'We're too close to the city borders! The guards might spot us if we light a fire!' Seonghwa presented his reasoning like a mature grown adult, just as his therapist had told him to.
'That would be better than being spotted by a bunch of hungry wolves and getting eaten alive!'
'Um, guys?' Pearl tried to interject.
'Not now, princess!' Both of them answered at the same time.
'Listen, Chul Soo! All I'm trying to do here is save you all from being the main dish of a wolf family's Sunday dinner.' Wooyoung huffed, annoyed.
'What are you even scared of? It's just a bunch of dogs!' Something about the way his (cousin's) name rolled off the silver head's tongue had flipped a switch in Seonghwa's brain. He just wanted to win at this point. ' Is my little Kitten scared of some big bad doggies?' he pouted in fake sympathy, petting Wooyoung's hair who smacked his hand away.
'Guys?' Pearl was ignored once again.
'They won't just be a bunch of dogs when they'll be making Jump ropes out of your intestines! So yes, the little kitten is scared and not ashamed of it!'
'Oh yeah? Want mommy to cuddle you and keep you safe then?!'
'Okay, now that's just weird.' Pearl was just talking to herself at this point.
'You know what? I want exactly that!' Wooyoung nodded his head with his hands on his hips.
'Then so be it!' The two of them walked down angrily to the lower hammock, laid down, wrapped their arms around each other and went straight to sleep. Seonghwa was the big spoon, of course.
'All I'm saying is I know a place we could stay at.' Pearl said, gaining attention from both of them making their heads shoot up like a pair of meerkats.
'WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY IT SOONER!' Both of them shouted at her simultaneously.
