Seonghwa sat in the garden with his head in his hands

Seonghwa sat in the garden with his head in his hands. Well, at least, for a few seconds until the mosquitoes forced him to move to the chairs on the front porch. He still had his head in his hands, though. The spy sighed, running his fingers through his hair. Now that rationality had decided to enter his brain again, he contemplated his chances and came to a conclusion- Pearl was right. She was the best option they had. But the risk it possessed was way too great; he couldn't allow Pearl to put herself in such a delicate position. If things went awry, Pearl would be at an arm's distance from Ember. It could put the mission in jeopardy.

'What else can we do?' he questioned himself to no avail. Wooyoung wasn't relevant enough to Ember for him to stop and listen to the guard's weird rants; Mingi could hold him off but not for too long; Yunho and he would be sneaking around to take the documents, which leaves Pearl as the most appropriate person for the job. And that frustrated Seonghwa terribly; frustrated to the point that he resorted to uprooting his hair from his scalp.

'Woah, there Seonghwa, you're going to turn bald at this rate.' He looked up from the ground, eyes landing on a smiling Wooyoung and a concerned Yunho. 'Here, have some water,' they handed him a big cup, watching him chug it down whole.

'So,' Wooyoung started, 'any success coming up with a plan?' The two seated themselves on either side of the spy.

'None.' Seonghwa sighed, resorting back to glaring at the ground as if some idea would tear it apart and spring out. Wooyoung and Yunho shared a look, a smirk of understanding followed by a nod, and both of them knew it was time to give their emotionally illiterate friend a reality check.

'What's up with you? I've never seen you so pressed over a mission.' Yunho started, fully aware of what his answer would be.

'It's just so stupid.' Seonghwa sighed. 'She is the last person that should be around that jerk. If things go downhill she would be captured instantly. I can't leave her alone to deal with him. '

'But?'

'But she's the most capable one for this job!' Yunho was struggling to hold in his smile while he watched his partner hunched over and splitting his brain in two at the dilemma.

'That's very unlike you.' he commented.

'What is?' Seonghwa looked up at the golden-haired giant, forehead pinched together and a slight pout on his face.

'The Seonghwa I know wouldn't have given two shits about some random person he met not even two weeks ago walking into the enemy's den if it meant it made your work easier.' Yunho stated in a matter-of-fact way. If he was being honest, Seonghwa knew it wasn't like him to be worrying over someone he met so recently, for a mission or not. He normally didn't care for people she's known for years. But, at the moment he wasn't being honest.

'What do you mean? We're supposed to be working for her, I can't compromise her safety like that.'

'Are you sure that's the only reason, Seonghwa?' Wooyoung decided to intervene, his voice laced with mischief.
