Liv stumbled in, knowing she had too much to drink, but she didn't care. She had drunk away her emotions, not wanting to care about anyone or anything.
'You sure you're ok?..'.. Maria asked her, trying to make sure that Liv didn't fall into anything, as they made their way to the main room. Helen had sent a message ahead to Nat and Bucky, letting them know how the evening had gone. Aside from Liv knocking a guy out for grabbing her ass and getting handsy, it had been good.
'Im fine. Why wouldn't I be fine? It's not like having to face that prick every day doesn't hurt, but I got to, right?..'.. The two women exchanged a look, as Liv carried on... 'He ruined my life, hurt my family and took everything from me..'.. She hiccupped as she made it to the main room, not caring who was there.
'Its not good enough he destroyed my life, tormented me every night since in my nightmares, but to parade around like he's a fucking saint..'.. She flopped down on a couch, kicking off her shoes... 'I don't believe that bullshit. He destroyed me, destroyed my home, my world..'
Loki remained where he stood, watching her. He knew she was inebriated, and her words now speaking the truth. He wanted to know what she meant, had to know what he could do to help her get through her anger.
'Im hungry..'.. He looked to the others that were in the room, Stark and Pepper, Thor, Barnes, Wanda and Vision, as well as the two that came in, all eyes were on her... 'Hm, tacos. I want tacos, I don't know why, but I do..'.. She sighed, rolling her head back.. 'I just wish I could die, I miss them so much..'.. Hearing her voice break, he felt such emptiness inside him.
Bucky walked over, scooping her up in his arms, wanting to get her out of there before she said any more. He knew if she admitted it out loud to the others, she'd hate herself.
She sobbed into his neck, holding onto dear life. Bucky didn't stop, but headed straight to her room. Once he was inside, he settled her on the bed, and began to grab her PJ's, and change her.
She had cried the whole time, and once he was done, he got into bed next to her, holding her tight. He stroked her back, knowing there were no words to make up for how she was feeling.

Loki looked over to where Barnes had gone with her, knowing he had taken her to her room. He turned to his brother, not daring to say anything and left to go outside. He couldn't stay there any longer, he had hurt her too much, though he didn't know what it was he had done, he couldn't bear the thought of causing her any more grief. He would return to Asgard, and remain in his cell.
'Loki!..'.. He ignored his brother, and kept walking, heading for the door outside... 'Brother, for the sake of the Gods, will you just stop..'
Loki did, taking a deep breath and staring at the door, not 10ft in front of him. A little further and he would have been outside, ready to call Heimdall... 'What possible reason, should I stay brother?..'.. He turned to Thor, making sure not to show any emotions... 'That mortal clearly does not want me to be here, so I shall return. I have had enough of pretending to play nice with your band of miscreants, I would rather rot in a cell, than spend another moment here. That manipulation game of hers, I will play no longer..'
Thor grabbed hold of Lokis arm to stop him as he headed to the door again... 'I know you well enough Loki, to know when you lie. I have seen you change, I have seen you smile, and enjoy your time here..'.. He let Loki go, holding his hands up... 'You two need to talk, find out what happened and why she is so angry. You know better than most, what it can do to a person, carrying so much anger..'
Loki took a deep breath, and pinched the bridge of his nose... 'She will not talk to me brother, what do you propose I do? Force her?..'
Thor thought it over... 'Yes..'
Loki looked to Thor, wondering if his brother had gone insane... 'Do you even hear yourself right now? I have never forced any woman to do anything she did not want, nor will I ever do such a thing. I may be the God of Mischief, but even I have some morals..'... Loki scoffed.
'Not what I meant, but push her to talk..'.. Thor looked back down the hallway to the main room, then back to Loki, dropping his voice... 'She is angry, so use that to get her to talk. When she is in the training room, push her, make her fight, make her angry...'
'Im sure she would love the chance to kill me..'.. Loki rolled his eyes.
'If she really wanted to kill you, she would have done so by now. She is the most powerful of us all, not one of us could really stop her if she wanted to harm you..'.. Loki thought over Thors words. If her powers came from an infinity stone, then she was as powerful as Thor believed.
'You are aware how ridiculous your plan is, are you not?..'.. He leaned back against the wall behind him, folding his arms... 'You words were 'she is the most powerful of us all, not one of us could really stop her'. So how do you expect to stop her, if I make her as angry as you want me to, to make her talk?..'
Thor sighed, knowing Loki was right. He ran a hand though his hair, wondering if ther was any other way... 'Perhaps talk to Bucky. He is her closest friend, it is possible he would know. Have you tried reading her mind?..'
Loki shook his head... 'She is sheilding, and I am sure she is unaware she is doing so. It is the same for Barnes, she is shielding him too. I cannot read either..'.. Loki looked towards the door, still debating whether he should go.
'Dont leave, not yet. Just one more week. If you still wish to leave, then I will not stop you..'.. Thor held his hands up again, watching his brother.
'Very well, but I do not see anything changing by then..'.. He sighed, and turned back towards the main room, to retire for the night. He frowned as he walked, remembering her words. She said that he tormented her every night, she had nightmares about him. If she was alone in her room, he could enter her mind as she slept, and remove them.
Wondering if she was alone, he bid goodnight to the ones who still lingered in the room, heading for his quarters. He slowed outside her door, and cast an illusion, of him continuing to his room. Making himself invisible, he teleported inside, remaining in the corner.
She was asleep, her back against Barnes as he held her close. Loki felt a stab of an emotion he had not felt in a long time. He took a seat in her chair, in the corner, waiting for the moment that she would be alone.
It was almost an hour later, when Barnes awoke, and headed out of the room, but not before writing her a note, leaving it on her nightstand. Loki waited a few moments, ensuring that he had gone, and waved his hand to the door, looking it.
Moving quietly to the empty side of the bed, he carefully laid down, and raised a hand, placing it against her forehead. Closing his eyes, Loki focused and felt himself fall into her dreams.
