A month after the battle, after they had lost Liv, Tony wanted to hold a memorial for her. The team all attended, as did agents and staff that knew of her.

The stones had been returned, Vision had his back, as did Strange. Thor had taken to returning the others to space, with a group called the guardians of the galaxy.

Bucky and Loki had grieved, and were still grieving, both needing the other to get through their loss.

The team had remained together, knowing that the world still needed them, but for what Liv had done, they were thankful they still had their world.

Strange had told them of the original outcome of the battle, of those who would have been lost, and each one had made sure, that Livs sacrifice would not be in vain.

The memorial was held in a secluded location, and everyone attended, all saying a few words of their fallen friend. Stories were shared, laughter was heard heard, and love was shown.

Loki and Bucky were stood off to the side, leaning into one another, when they saw two butterflies coming in front of them, and landing on the table close close by. One was a small white one, and the other had beautiful colours, that reminded them of the stones. Loki couldn't help but smile, as though it was a sign, and gestured for Bucky to look.

Both men watched as the butterflies fluttered their wings at them, before taking off again, into the sky... 'She's watching over us, isn't she?..'

'I believe so. Though she may be gone in physical form, she is and always will be, with us..'.. Loki looked his fingers with Bucky.

'What do we do now? I mean, I'm still dead to the world..'.. Bucky asked, watching Steve and Nat comforting one another.

'Come to Asgard. Or we can travel the universe..'.. Loki turned to him... 'The choice is yours love, whatever you wish to do, I will follow..'

Bucky smiled at him, feeling some of the darkness lift from him... 'Liv said that our wedding had to be on Asgard, and her birthday will be soon. We can celebrate both..'

'You wish to get married?..'.. Loki was a little stunned, but couldn't help but smile back.

'We've already lost her, I don't want to lose you too, without making it official first..'.. Bucky tugged him closer, kissing him lightly.

'I think it's a wonderful idea. Though she won't be with us, she is still in our hearts..'.. Loki rested his forehead against Buckys.

The two of them made their rounds, seeing everyone and joining in with the stories of Liv. No one had a bad word to say about her, and it showed, just how much she was loved.

To say Bucky was nervous, was an understatement. This was the first time he was in Asgard, and their wedding would be the following day. He was in awe of the beauty, as Loki guided him down the bridge, and through the city.

He was surprised to see people bowing to him, and addressing him as 'your highness'. Once they were inside the palace, he looked over to Loki who was smiling... 'Uh, why were they calling me that?..'

'Because as of tomorrow, you will officially be prince James. Your title has already been announced to our people. When we are wed, we will be bound. My powers and lifespan will be yours. Your strength, agility and enhanced senses, will be mine..'.. Loki stops outside large golden doors... 'This is the throne room, we will meet Odin and Frigga..'
