"In 1935, the state of Texas instituted an endangered childcare program. The first year nearly fifty children were taken from homes were criminal activity was the norm most of these children were given new names and entered into foster care. Others, the product of degenerate parentage, were remitted here to Gorman house. We take care of their psychological and physical needs." The man said
"Yes, sir" Lizzy said.
"I've been wanting to come on here for a long time now" She said
"I think I can help them-" Lizzy was cut off
"Elizabeth" The man said
"Oh, please, sir, Lizzy's fine" She said
"Elizabeth" He said again "Most of these kids will end up in prison or mental institutions. Keeping them here is safer for everyone. Keep your guard up" he said before walking off
Lizzy walked into a room and closed the door holding the clipboard close to her chest. Lizzy was walking down the aisle. And she noticed a huge boy and a girl who was drawing on a paper with Pencil crayons.
"Well, hello. My name is Lizzy" She said to the both of them.
The boy looked at her.
"I'm new here, and I want to get to know ya'll" said Lizzy the boy just grunts and the girl didn't say anything.
"Oh" A boy sitting behind Lizzy said. Lizzy turned her head.
"that's Bud, you don't say all that much, do you, big guy?" He said
"Nuh-uh" the big guy said
"Unh-unh" he said again
The boy sat up from his chair.
"Uh...you're in my seat"The boy said
"Oh. Sorry" Lizzy said before getting up.
"Thank you kindly" He said before sitting down. He grabbed a Pencil crayon and was using it on Bud's paper.
"Uh I'm-" Lizzy got cut off by the boy
"Yeah, I heard, I heard" he looked back up at Lizzy and dropped the Pencil crayon. He wiped his hand on his pants.
"S-Sorry I'm Jackson" The boy said Lizzy took his hand and shook it she then looked at the girl sitting next to Bud the girl looked up. She stuck her hand out.
"Aileen" She said Lizzy took her hand and shook it.
Lizzy wrote on her clipboard.
"Jackson, Bud and Aileen"
"And what meds we have you on, Jackson?" Lizzy asked. Jackson looked up at her then at Bud.
"Meds. huh?" He said he started to smile
"They give 'em to us and we take 'em right?" Jackson said. Bud started laughing.
"We figured you'd know more about all of that then us, Lizzy" Jackson said
"You aren't gonna be trouble for me, are you?" She asked
"No, not me, Lizzy" Jackson said
"Is there a reason you keep saying my name like that?" She asked
"No, uh, I reckon I might like how it sounds, is all" Jackson replied
"Fuck you, asshole" A man said he grabbed the other guy by his shirt collar
"I'll pop your eyes right the fuck out of your head"
"Let him go" Lizzy said
"Mind your own business!" The man said
"It is my business, what is the problem" she said standing there as she held her clipboard tightly
"He said there something's I didn't care it was all about a girl in a nurses uniform and wandered what she tasted like"
He grabbed her as she tried to push him off then bud grabbed him and threw the man off her and he pushed bud "fuck you Frankenstein"
Lizzy was in the bathroom until she heard a sound and went to go check it out and when she did she saw a girl's face hit the wall and she ran into the bathroom seeing a girl shoving a mouse in another girls mouth with Aileen in there with her arms crossed not doing anything to help
"What are you doing!?" Lizzy asked concerned as the girl smacked the girl and the women spit the mouse out and when Lizzy tried to help she pushed her away and ran out
"What's the big deal it was just a stupid mouse" the girl said as she leaned against the bathroom
"Got a lighter?" She asked holding a cigarette
"Your not allowed to smoke in here" Lizzy said staring at the women before looking at Aileen who looked completely unbothered as she stood up straight.
"she got a special permission" Aileen said with a smirk on her face the girl smiled at that an looked up at Lizzy
"truth story you can ask doctor lang" the girl said as Lizzy didn't back down and stood there not showing fear on her face while Aileen rolled her eyes, 'I don't like her she's starting to piss me off' Aileen thought to herself
"he'll tell you it helps her on account of her anxiety" Aileen grumbled the girl chuckled
"Truth is cause I'm his favorite" she said walking out the room
"You two just got yourself a warning" Lizzy said said glancing at Aileen who raised a brow and scoffed
'I hope they kill you alive in here' she thought to herself
"For what? We were taking a bath" the girl said still smiling
"Get out" lizzy said and both girls walked out as the women mumbled "bitch"
A/n: Gonna end it here but when I do the other timeskip it's gonna be after they break out, I'm not that good at writing so don't judge me and along with that Aileen is gonna start greeting more screen time and she's gonna hate Lizzy
