My arms encircle her as she calms down.
But she pulls away quickly looking at me in shock.
"W-what are you doing here?!" She asks, her voice raising "Why are you here?" She says, swallowing.
"I-I'm helping you." I my voice cracking slightly as I look at her heartbroken face. But she doesn't believe me.
"N-No." She says, shaking her head violently fast "No no no no no. You're here to hurt me again- I can't- no- not again. No." She says glancing around the room.
She's letting her thoughts get to her..
I feel my throat develop a lump, one that's hard to swallow as her eyes water once more.
(A/N: FLASHBACK)
As I watched her turn and run out of the corridor I felt my world crash down. She was my world..
I hands go to my hair as I pull it and turn to face Blaise and Draco.
"You actual idiots." I whisper out to them "You ACTUAL FUCKING IDIOTS!" I yell now pointing at the door "Leave."
"Bro," Draco says "Why are you getting all defensive? Seriously, it was just a bet."
"Just a bet." I whiper quickly while nodding, trying to process what he said while thinking of a was to make it up to Aura "Just a bet?!" I say, finally understanding what he said "She WASN'T just a bet." I scoff "I LOVE HER YOU IDIOT!" I yell, not filter my words.
My eyes widen as a hand slaps over my mouth.
I said it. I just said it. And I meant it.
"That's dumb." Draco says while laughing "No, you're not. You just want her for se-"
"I mean it." I say firmly as I feel my blood boil at the words coming out of his mouth "You don't know what you're saying."
"Y-you mean it?" Draco says while scoffing "Wow. Never knew Riddle was weak." He emphasises the 'weak'.
"SHUT UP!" I yell "IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO SAY NOTHING TO MAKE THIS BETTER THEN LEAVE AND NEVER RETURN!"
"I'm sorry." Blaise says
"Yeah, sorry that you're top dumb to not even complete a bet." Draco says leaving while slamming the door close, leaving me and Blaise alone in the thick room.
"No-" He says swallowing "I'm sorry that we made you go through it, that you lost someone you love. I'll help you." Blaise says, making my eyes flickering to him "I promise."
(A/N: END OF FLASHBACK!)
"What are you doing?!" She says as I take a step towards her "Leave me alone. You've done enough." She whispers before fleeing to the Great Hall, leaving me sit alone and let the loneliness spread through my body.
"Why am I so fucking dumb?" I groan to myself "Why couldn't I have just left her alone?" I ask myself "Why'd I fucking bet on her?!" I whisper while my hands pull my hair.
Why am I so stupid?
I shouldn't have gone forth with that bet.
I shouldn't have.
Because now I regret it.
A lot.
And.
I'm fucking in love with her.
I hurt the one person I love.
She'll never forgive me.
I shouldn't have done it.. especially after Cedric.
She's too kind to do through with this again.
Fuck.
I need to make it up to her.
Really badly.
Fuck.
I will never forgive myself.
She's crying because of me.
Fuck!
I can't..
I can't hold her, hug her, kiss her, fucking do anything with her.
She's my distraction.
And now I just let her go.
