Chapter 5

Over the Emerald Forest, where a black bird is seen flying slowly and magnificently in the sky. Until right at the moment it gave it's final shriek when a red blur crashes through it in a burst of feathers.

Ruby: "Birdie, no!"

Ruby fires off a few rounds from Crescent Rose to slow her down, then turns the weapon into its scythe form to catch the branch of a tree in her blade and fall downward at a slower pace.

Weiss, armed with Myrtenaster, summons a white snowflake circle under her and leaps off of it to the forest bwlow.

Ren descends with Nora Valkyrie briefly seen next to hum at a faster speed, and spins in the air, eventually using StormFlower's blades to spiral around the trunk of a large tree and hit the ground, brushing off his clothes.

Yang: "Woo-hoo! Yeah! Alley-oop!

Yang, soaring right over the treetops, is using her gauntlets and its fiery force to push her through the air further and further north, spinning and laughing with each blast, even when she crashes through the leaves of a tree and leaps off two trunks to tumble to the ground.

Yang: "Nailed it!"

She then runs off deeper into the forest.

Pyrrha, her weapon in sword form and armed with a shield, crashes through several trees and rolls on a branch, immediately shifting her blade into a rifle and looking through the scope at Jaune as he continues to scream and fall helplessly. Pyrrha coolly transforms her weapon again to its spear form, takes a moment to evaluate her throw, and rockets the javelin deep into the forest until a "THUNK!" is heard. Suddenly Jaune could be heard in the distance.

Jaune: "Thank you!"

Pyrrha then waves towards his direction.

Pyrrha: "I'm sorry!"

Rouge is also soaring right over the treetops with her wings out stretched. She started to descend down into the forest below dodging and weaving any branches or trees that would block her path down. With a hard "THUD" she lands in a crouched position before standing up straight. She then takes a few steps forward before.

???: "Watch out!"

Rouge turns to the direction of the voice before getting collided by someone, causing them both to crash and tumble down through the forest. Rouge stood up, her head spinning before shaking it off. She looks towards the person that crashed into her.

She looked to be a wolf faunus due to the noticeable pointy ears. She had brown skin and biscotti fur around her faunus ears. She had thick black eyelashes and cadet blue eyes, although they are often closed to the point of squinting. She wears light grey eyeshadow and has long, bushy tail which ends in several tufts of fur sticking out in various directions. She also has a brown nose, long-pointed ears and quite long hair that she keeps tied at the back in a ponytail with a black hair tie, save for a long, think hair bang that covers her right eye. Her fangs protrude from her mouth which is often in a natural frown.

For her attire, she wore a cream coloured tub top, light grey leggings, and a dark grey cloak, in which she keeps six canisters. The cloak also has black and dark grey pockets seen on the shoulders. She wears an outfit geared towards combat. This includes dark grey arm sleeves with black elbow pads, dark grey and light grey gloves with visible dark brown claws, and dark grey knee sleeves and black knee pads. She sports military fashioned black, dark grey, and light grey boots. She can sometimes be seen wearing her cat-like ornate mask scope, which is cream, dark grey and light grey in colour. Three holes are seen at the right side of the mask and a blue "eye" on the left side.
