Keefe POV

Felix and I were hanging out when all of a sudden Fitz entered. Felix and I turned."Oh." Felix said. "Maybe I should go." "No. You can stay." I told him, glaring at Fitz.

"Look. I'm sorry." Fitz said, looking down. "Oh, is that all?" Felix asked sarcastically. "I'm not talking to you Felix!" Fitz snapped at him. I interjected "Fitz, did you come here to apologize or snap at my friend." "Apologize" "Apologize then." I crossed my arms, waiting.

"I'm sorry for being an idiot about Felix I guess." he said. I knew that was probably the most sincere it was going to get so I accepted it.

Sophie POV

Biana and I thought it would be good if Keefe invited Felix to sit with us at lunch. Felix was a bit shy at first but after a bit he seemed to open up and be more like Keefe described.

Felix is now sitting with us every day. And hanging out with us after school, Felix is really good at Base Quest. Like really good. It's almost like he can sense where we are or something. Probably not though.

Anyways, Fitz and I just got to the beach house where Keefe is staying. Away from his father, thank goodness. He asked us to help him with his memories. He seems pretty sure that his mom hid something, and it wouldn't hurt to check.

"There's a girl in my memories. I don't know who she is, and my parents won't tell me anything. The thing is, she's so familiar, and in the very few memories I have, I seem to care for her. I need to find out who she is." Keefe explains.

"Do you know anything else about her?" I asked, "Like maybe a name?" Fitz added "No. Mommy Dearest must have erased it." Keefe replied.

"Let's get to work I guess."

Fitz and I stretched our consciousness, plunging into Keefe's mind. Almost immediately, we are surrounded by memories of a blond girl, maybe 2 or 3. The thing is, there aren't actually that many memories.

I dive deeper into Keefe's mind, Fitz following. Up ahead, it's pitch black, except for a few glimmers of light.

As we get closer, we can see that the glimmers of light are actually shards of memories. Lady Gisela must've gotten a Washer to shatter Keefe's memories. We can see and hear scattered bits and pieces of memories. "There must be a keyword or something to release some more memories." Fitz says. I remember when we were surrounded by memories, Keefe was saying "Moon. Your name means Moon"

So that's what we tried. On the first try, 1 memory came flooding out. We watched it.

"Look Keefe! It's a full moon. My first full moon" The girl was saying. She couldn't be more than 2 here. "It's so pretty." She raised her arms towards the moon as if to touch it.

Suddenly, before their eyes, the girl's hair started to change. Blue streaks started to weave slowly through her hair, from the roots to the tips. She seemed to glow in the moonlight.

Then she blinked out of sight. "Luna!" Young Keefe called worriedly. "Where are you?" "Silly Keefe" The girl dubbed as Luna said, giggling. "I'm right here." She reappeared. Luna was a Vanisher. "Why are you so worried?" Luna was also an Empath. Suddenly, a beam of light shot down from the sky, so quickly almost no one saw it. Luna reached out and formed a ball with the lunar energy. She threw it up in the air, like a ball. She had manifested a never-before-seen ability. Lunar Energy Manipulation, or Moon-Ergokinesis.

Only one thing was running through both Fitz's and my minds. This 2 year old was not normal.
