Luna POV

Felix left later that day, once I calmed down. Keefe never left my side. Which I was thankful for.

These elves were asking so many questions. I knew a bit about them already because of Felix.

"Are you okay?" one of the boys asked. I think his name is Dex. Before I could answer, the rest of the elves continued firing questions at me.

"Why were you alone? What's that bracelet for?" One question stood out the most. "Why did they kidnap you?" A girl, I think her name's Sophie, asked.

"What?" I was startled and angry.

"They didn't kidnap me! You guys did!" Now they looked just as confused as I felt.

"But you were all alone in a Neverseen base. You were drugged" "Yeah, for my safety."

Now they looked even more confused, and some looked slightly scared.

"Keefe, help me out here?" I asked.

"Her powers are moon-based. Yesterday was a full moon, so we drugged her. If we hadn't, she could have lost control and destroyed everything." Keefe explained.

"So you're part of the Neverseen?!" Everyone started yelling and arguing.

All the chaos was overwhelming and made me start panicking again. So many tears welled up in my eyes that everything became blurry. Keefe ran to my side and gave me a hug to calm me down.

Just then, Felix walked in. "WHAT IS GOING ON!" He shouted. He ran to me and joined Keefe in calming me down. He brought out a homemade key lime pie. I started to calm down as I smelt the familiar dessert. My favourite.

"Is that a key lime pie?" Sophie asked suspiciously. "What's a key lime pie?" Dex asks. "It's a human dessert. "Sophie replies. "Where did you get it?" Fitz asks "I made it." Felix replied

"Hey! No one answered me! Why was Lune was about to have another panic attack?" Felix said angrily. Everyone was now quiet and nobody had an answer for him. Which just made him angrier.

"I'm fine Felix" I said, still shaking a little so my attempt to calm him down did not work.

"No, you're not, they take you from your home, bring you to a place you don't know, separate you from the people you do know and then scream at you."

"Felix stop. I said I'm fine." He mumbled something under his breath, then asked Keefe to talk in private. "Stay away from Lune." He said as he walked away.

Keefe POV

"I don't know if we'll be able to meet up anymore." Felix said.

Does he not like me? Did I do something wrong? These thoughts and more were running through my head.

"It's not you." Felix said, noticing my distressed state. "It's just that Lune and I have to find somewhere to go, and I'm not sure where, or how long we'll have to be in hiding."

I brightened up as I got an idea.

"Come live with me!" Felix and I both blushed as we realized how that sounded.

"I-I meant to say that my dad has way too many houses for his own good." I slightly regained confidence. "You and Luna could come live with me. I live in one he forgot about, so we won't be found."

Felix sighed as he dragged a hand down his face. "Are you sure? I don't want to do anything that could put Lune at risk. And I wouldn't want to be a burden."

"You could never be a burden." Keefe whispers under his breath. "Huh?" asks Felix. "Nothing. But you do know that Luna is my twin. I would do anything for her."

"I guess you're right." Felix replies, sighing. "So where is this house?"

Luna POV

When Keefe and Felix left, it got really awkward.

"You want some pie?" I asked them because most of them were staring at the pie Felix made me.

"What's in it?" Fitz asked, staring at it suspiciously. "Graham cracker crumbs, melted unsalted butter, sugar, egg yolks, lime zest, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, whipping cream, confectioner's sugar."

"Sounds good." Sophie said at the same time everyone else said "What?"

"Just try some!" I said, passing around plates of pie. Sophie started eating it as soon as she got it, while others were tentatively taking bites.

"Oh. It's actually really good guys." Dex said.

While everyone was eating my pie, Felix pulled me aside.

"How do you feel about moving in with Keefe?" I smirked. "You would love that wouldn't you?" Felix blushed, running a hand through his hair.

I sighed. "I guess it's safest isn't it?" "I think it would be best. It's a secluded house and practically no one knows it exists."

"Okay..."
