Keefe POV

"I just need to do something before we leave." Felix says.

He goes into the training room and brings out a bag. ""What are you doing?" I ask. "You'll see. You ready?" Felix directed the last part at Luna, as we had reached her room. "As ready as I'll ever be." Luna sighs.

I look on, confused. I've been confused a lot lately. Especially with Felix.

I thought I was straight.

Maybe I am. I don't even know anymore.

Why is this so confusing?

Why can't the elven world be accepting of this?

And now I'm ranting. I can't dwell on these thoughts too long because Felix just pulled out a big human needle and is injecting Luna with it. Wait- What?!

"It's the full moon. Her powers are heightened and she can't control them so we have to sedate her." Felix explained, noticing my enraged expression. Luna went limp and I fought the urge to lunge at Felix.

I know he's doing what's best for Luna, but I can't help but want to beat him up for drugging her. Is this what it's like to be a twin brother?

Mommy Dearest made me study twins born in the elven world. I guess this is why.

Did you know that elven twins have a rare bond? From birth, from the moment they recognize each other, they form a bond like no other. They would risk everything for their twin.

I look on as Felix kisses Luna on the forehead. I instantly grow jealous. I know that even with the twin bond, Luna needs to spend time with me, and be more comfortable around me before I can start doing things like that.

Felix and I leave her room, closing the door softly, before leaping to the Wanderling Woods to continue our nightly hang out session.

When we come back, I go to check on Luna and stop in my tracks. Luna's door is wide open, and she's not in her bed.

I scream. "FELIX!"
