Sophie's POV
I manage to convince Keefe and Felix to let me talk to Luna alone. Luna leads me to her bedroom and flops down on her bed. I take a seat on her spinny chair.
"I really am sorry about what happened before. I have had bad experiences with the Neverseen and it looked like you were with the Neverseen, especially with all your weapons. I overreacted."
"I accept your apol- wait. Is it bad to be in the Neverseen?" Luna asks, confused.
Either she's a really good actor, or she actually doesn't know what the Neverseen do. I decide it's the latter, so I explain everything to her.
After I finish, she just stared at me. "So the Neverseen is bad? Well that explains a lot." "Are you not surprised?" I ask.
I know I would be if I suddenly found out that the Black Swan was evil.
"Not really. I guess I kinda knew on some level, I just didn't really acknowledge it." I nod in understanding. It reminds me of how I always knew I was different, I just didn't want to believe it.
Timeskip
"Wait. You're telling me that Gethen exploded Lumenaria with telekinesis?" Luna laughs. "I didn't even know he knew what Lumenaria was."
I chuckle sadly. I didn't tell her about Forkle yet. That's a story for another time.
I scan her room and see a bookshelf full of human books. I jump up.
"You have Harry Potter books?" I squeal. "Of course! Have you read it?!" "Read it and watched it." "Have you seen Draco in the 6th movie?!" "Oh my gosh yes!"
Suddenly Luna jumps up. "I have to tell Felix about the Neverseen!" She runs out the door but trips on her untied shoelace.
She falls and her face twists in pain. A second later she seems fine.
I must've imagined it.
Hearing the thump, Felix and Keefe come rushing out of a room. They're both dressed in long robes with sticks in their hands, and long fake beards.
I do a double take. "Where on earth did you get those?" Luna exclaims.
Felix and Keefe look at each other.
"Does it matter?" Keefe says, as Felix blushes furiously.
Felix takes one side of Luna, and I take the other. We heave her off the floor
She winces, but brushes it off.
"It's fine." Luna announced. "I think I just rolled it. Oh yeah! The Neverseen is evil. And Felix, did you know that the night we snuck out was the night Gethen crushed Lumenaria with telekinesis."
"Really?" Felix laughed. "I didn't even know he knew what Lumenaria was." "That's what I said!" Luna exclaimed.
Keefe looked over at me, questioning if they knew what else he did last night. Namely, to Forkle. I shook my head, signaling they didn't.
We ended up bringing Luna back to her room. Keefe gestured Felix outside. They whispered for a bit.
While they were outside whispering, Luna and I started talking again.
"They like each other, don't they?" I smirked. "It's so obvious, right?" Luna sighs exasperated. "They need to get together." "I'll help. And I know Biana will too."
"Didn't she used to like Keefe?" She asks. "Yeah, but now she likes Tam." "He's the one Keefe calls Bangs Boy, right? The dude with the silver bangs?" I nod.
