First day of classes seemed to have been hitting off wonderfully. Only one more class to finish the day off. I pulled my book out for Herbology, only book of the three I truly used today.

As I walked into the large green house, I saw that I was one of the first few to arrive. At least I can say I was not late for this class. My eyes wandered around as I decided to make my way down a set of metal stairs and into the classroom.

Students now began to pour into class, the professor standing with a small basket of seeds for the students to grab as they walked through. I came in last to grab my seeds, a wide smile coming across the professor. "You must be our new fifth year. Ms. Hemingway, correct?"

I gave her a gentle nod, a smile forming as I took the seeds from her basket. "Yes ma'am, Amelia." I said as she nodded. "I am Professor Garlick, it's wonderful to meet you." She turned to face the class, my hands fiddling with the small packet in my hands as I already knew what was coming.

"Class! Meet our newest rose in our garden, Ms. Hemingway. Please, make her feel welcome and at home." As she introduced me, I saw Sebastian standing to face me. He had his hands clasped in front of him as he tilted his head to the side, a smile covering his face as he raised his eyebrows at me.

I gave him a small wave as I made my way to Sebastian to take the empty space next to him. Professor Garrick soon headed to a small podium at the front of the class, to begin the instruction.

"I wouldn't say you're much of a rose. Maybe a roselily....or maybe a bergamot?" Sebastian said as his head tilted slightly to the side, my eyes moving to look at him. "What are you talking about?" I asked as I was thoroughly lost in what he was saying.

He gave me a smile and nodded, "Definitely a roselily." He turned his attention up front and I followed, holding onto the seeds I was given.

"You will all split off into pairs and work on planting as well as cultivating a Chinese chomping cabbage. Now as you work with the ones that are fully grown, you must make sure to use extra caution, as they can tear your flesh right off."

My eyes widened slightly, my lips pressing together tightly as I looked at the seeds in my hands. Sebastian let out a whistle as he turned his head to me. "Don't think I'd like to even look at one of those knowing it wants my flesh."

I nodded and took a deep breath in and sighed, "Well, since fate has it today that we must be partners in every class we have, care to join me?" I asked him as I turned to face him. "Hm, would I care to join you? Or would I find it rather boring?"

He placed a hand on his chin, pretending to think as I crossed my arms, looking at him. "I may go ask someone else then. Sorry to bother you, you royal pain." I smiled as I pretended to bow, moving my head up to look at him.

A small laugh escaped Sebastian's lips. "You're quite funny, newbie." I stood straight up now, an eyebrow raising. "You really love calling me anything but my name, don't you?"

He shrugged, starting to head off to another room to grab a pot, "Anything to mess with the newcomers. It's working though, isn't it?" I rolled my eyes as I followed him and nodded. "It is. But don't get used to it, Sallow."

He raised his hands up defensively while still walking. "Whatever you say," he turned his head and smirked "Amelia." I stuck my tongue out at him as he put his arms down, heading to a corner to grab a pot.

"Aren't we going to need a bigger pot than that? I thought the cabbages grow to be pretty big." My Herbology knowledge truly wasn't the best, but Sebastian seemed to know much more. "Well, in order to help them grow faster, they need a much more stable environment. A small pot will allow the nutrients they need to get to their roots faster. We can always transplant them to a bigger pot."
