a flutter of lashes
a kiss
an embrace?

what is love but the look in your thoughtful blue eyes, the gentleness but firmness of your safe warm hugs, the knowing that no matter what happens I can come home to you and everything will be ok, because I have you
it was not a fall
but a slow sinking
a slow sinking into the fullest abyss I've ever known
