not to be confused with the old nightmares scenario in the book— i just didn't really have a better title, tbh.

(oc) begins to have nightmares after experiencing so much traumatic shit as a ninja. which, causes them to stay awake and not sleep.

(crush) and the other ninja become worried, though, when they see (oc) too tired to function.

eventually, they plan to help their teammate go to sleep, then go into their dreams so they (the ninja) can figure out why they're not sleeping.

however, what they find in there is something that they'd never expect.
