Boss's POV
That red haired girl, she's definitely something. She knows how to pick a fight that's impressive. She keeps her guard up though which I kinda feel bad for but I guess she has to with all the shit people put her through. Yeah, I've seen her around school before just never had the opportunity to approach her. But Heather ticking her off was the perfect moment. Well maybe not for her, but in my case. I just wanna possibly get to know her, she seems scary but who knows? Maybe she's just hangry!
Anyways I guess I should talked about me now cuz yknow I'm sooooo mysteriousss. Haha just kidding, I'm actually quite well known in school people just seem to really like me. I don't really know why considering I have such gross dimples and weird long flowy hair. Who wants to be around that? Anyways pretty much everyone at school knows who I am aside from her I guess which is kinda refreshing not going to lie. I like that someone doesn't already know me so maybe I could try a different approach with her?

It's the last period of the day, FINALLY! I don't remember anything we learned today and honestly it doesn't matter to me. I've been thinking about that girl the entire day, I wanna talk to her again but when and how? Ooo maybe she'll go to Hip Hop Purée later! Who doesn't love juiced foods amiright? For the whole class I tune out what the teacher is saying and just think about the end of the day and hoping she'll be in the mood for Purée.

Chapa's POV
Finally the end of the day took long enough. I pick up my book bag and leave my desk and wave Mika and Miles goodbye. They had to go home early cuz their dad wanted to show them his new saddle I think? I don't even know their dad is weird as hell. I start making my way down to Hip Hop Purée. I was really in the mood for a Puréed sandwich right now. As I was walking I heard other footsteps behind me. I turn my head slightly and see Bose trying to catch up to me.

Chapa : I thought I told you to leave me alone.
Bose : well actually you told me to go away and last time I checked those are very two different things

He smiled proudly to himself and I just scoffed.

Chapa : whatever, what are you doing here then?
Bose : I wanted the chance to talk to you again, but yknow without the whole BAM BAM BAM OWWWW GET OFF BAM BAM BAM

He makes air punches and mocks the girls voice and I couldn't help but chuckle a bit. What? It's so stupid but kinda funny at the same time.

Bose : Woahhhh she chuckles? Well isn't this my lucky day
Chapa : Oh shut up
Bose : nah I'm good...
Chapa : what?
Bose : I just realized I never got your name
Chapa : Lula Elena Chapa De Silva but just call me Chapa
Bose : Jesus that's a mouth full, nice to meet you Lul-

I grab his collar and glares at him and he throws his hands up in defense

Bose : Sorry sorry I meant Chapa
Chapa : good keep it that way

I let go of him and we continue walking side by side. I look up at him and watch him rob his neck. I for some reason kinda feel bad and look down and pull at my fingers.

Chapa : Sorry
Bose : for what?
Chapa : For the grabbing thing and yelling from before, you haven't done anything to me just sometimes I can't control my anger
Bose : oh, it's okay I get it
Chapa : you do?
Bose : well not really. But I understand you didn't mean it so I forgive you
Chapa : Thanks. So uh, why'd you want to talk to me

Bose pauses in his tracks and faces me but wonders his eyes. Is he nervous?

Bose : I've actually wanted to talk to you for a while now. I thought you seemed cool despite the fighting and i don't know I wanna get to know you better.

Wow, that's actually kinda nice. He's not afraid of me. Well he is but not in that extent he wants to just talk to me. That made me get a small fuzzy feeling in my stomach. What was that? I straightened up and put my resting bitch face back on.
