Karina: More Than Enough

"Ring" The bell rang, signaling the end of the class. "Phew" you sighed and headed up to the school roof to relax during lunch.

Boring was the life of a college freshman and it totally did not help that you had no one to talk to nor club activities to attend to.

As you peacefully laid on the rooftop bench staring up at the sky, a creak sound could be heard as the door knob was twisted open and footsteps quietly approached you.

"There you are y/n, I have been searching around the campus for you. The president would like to speak to you after class in the clubroom" the voice softly said.

Turning your back to face the source of the voice, you saw a small short haired girl before she hurriedly left.

Judging by the color of her hair highlights, you faintly recognised it to be that of your classmate and the vice president of the student council, Kim Minjeong.

"There goes my hopes of heading home early today" you thought as you pondered why the student council would want anything to do with you.

*timeskip"

Sitting as a group at the cafeteria were the student council members: Jimin, Aeri, Minjeong and Yi Zhuo.

" Unnie, why do you want to talk to that guy anyways?" Minjeong asked as she ate her lunch happily, unaware of Jimin's intentions.

" Well you will find out later " Jimin replied. The group hummed in response as they continued on with their lunch.

"Timeskip"

" Remember to read up on the next chapter and finish the assignments given" the teacher said as everyone was packing up their things.

You heaved a sigh of relief as you rubbed your eyes, waking up from the short nap. You were about to stand up before Minjeong dragged you to meet the president.

Once you entered the room, you felt stares all over the room from the girls seated around the table.

" Please take a seat " Jimin said, staring at you with a seemingly cold glare before pointing to an empty seat next to her. You heard many great things about the president, mostly about her coldness and beauty, and people definitely weren't wrong about both.

"May I know what this is about? " you warily asked while sitting down before Jimin started to announce her plan to everyone.

"What!" you exclaimed. After what you just heard, there was no way you were going to follow through Jimin's plan of getting you to join the student council.

" Well y/n, I will give you three days to find a club that you would join. Otherwise, you will be seeing us around more often"

...

You certainly did not manage to join any other club. It wasn't like they were bad or anything but you just did not have any interest in them. Maybe you were slightly attracted to the sudden proposal Jimin had made. Maybe just a tiny bit.

As the day ended, you dragged yourself to the clubroom for your first official day as a student council member. You sat down beside Aeri and was greeted with warm smiles from all the members welcoming you. All except for one.

"I see that you have decided to resign to your fate and join us" Jimin said nonchalantly while not even sparing a glance at the new member.

"We have a lot of things to do, especially with the school festival coming around. Everyone, please focus on the important matters" Jimin added.

You were certain this girl was colder than winter itself. You just took up her offer to join the student council and yet she did not even say a single word of gratitude. You were starting to think that you were just a convenient tool she could use.
