Summary: Karina annoys you.
"Morning Jimin" "Hi Jimin" "Nice to see you Jimin". Those were what you heard from people along the hallways every morning while you sat in class waiting for lessons to begin. You would be lying if you said you weren't getting slightly annoyed by the fact that you've been hearing the same thing over and over even after you entered second year. After a while, you managed to get used to the daily occurrence of such an event.
"Good morning everyone." A recognisable voice could be heard. Shortly after, a figure wandered into the room as the greetings continued. You braced yourself for what's to come, something you were all too familiar with. The figure walked over to your desk, standing in front of you and waving her hand.
"Morning to you too!"
You had no intention of replying to Jimin even though you were tempted to do so. Greeting her back would just further encourage her in whatever she was trying to achieve, something you were not looking to do.
"Hmph, another day of silence I see. It's ok! One day I will break the ice with you. Just know that I'm always here for you if you need anything, alright? Have a nice day ahead!"
With that, Jimin headed back to her seat just as class was about to start. You sighed, losing count of how many times you've experienced this exact situation in which students greet Jimin in the morning before she walks over to your desk to personally greet you.
Every school day had the same start to it and this became part of your daily routine whether you liked it or not. You've forgotten when all this exactly started but you were certain it was during the first year of school.
*flashback*
When you entered the first year of school, you weren't the brightest student nor the most enthusiastic about studying. You narrowly made it to the school you were currently in through your somewhat decent grades. Living life day by day with little hopes and dreams was somehow working.
There were plans for you to get a permanent job instead of going for further studies but your parents were strongly against it. With a little persuasion from them, you decided to attend school while looking for a part time job to earn some allowance. Learning how to make latte art was a little growing interest of yours and you managed to find a job at a nearby cafe to explore it further.
At school, life was pretty boring as you weren't looking forward to anything, especially mugging for exams. It didn't help that you did not bother to interact with anyone since the first day you stepped into class. The only thing you had on your mind the entire time in school was the end of class when you can finally head over to the cafe and start work.
Juggling between your studies and job was quite tiring but at least you had fun learning latte art while at work. You thought your school life was going to remain peaceful without any disturbance but it turns out you were wrong.
After a few months of attending school, you came to class and sat at your desk just like any other day. Suddenly, a random girl that you've never seen before walked into the room. Everyone greeted her and she returned the greeting. Were you supposed to know her? Was she in your class?
Although you paid no attention to your classmates, you were certain she did not belong to your class so you wondered what she was doing here. While you were gathering your thoughts, the girl was slowly approaching you.
"Hi, good morning to you too! You probably don't know who I am now but it's ok. You'll recognise me sooner or later because you'll be seeing this face a lot more often. Be prepared! Have a nice day ahead!"
