Summary: Aftermath of the incident and more.

"Ning, Are you ok? If you can hear me, answer me please."

No response. Ning's frail body laid on the floor as you shook her repeatedly to no avail. Something was horribly wrong. You checked Ning's vitals and touched her forehead to find out that it was scorching hot. Holding her body firmly yet gently in your arms, you could feel it burning up. Ning must have been running a high fever and pretended she was fine to avoid any unwanted concerns from you and the other members.

At that very second, you wondered if the concert was so important to Ning that she hid her condition from everyone and chose to carry on with the concert despite the terrible state she was in. However, that did not matter, not anymore. Right now, the most important thing was making sure that Ning received urgent medical attention. As such, you immediately dialed the ambulance, telling them about the situation so Ning could be brought to the nearest hospital as soon as possible.

While doing so, you could feel a crowd, consisting mainly of backstage staff, forming around you as they took notice of Ning's motionless body on the floor. Some people whose eyes were filled with concern for the girl, others who were terrified of the scene unfolding in front of them. All in all, no one had a clue on what to do in this situation.

Not long later, you noticed the girls slowly squeezing their way through the sea of onlookers, not knowing what was going on. A sudden gathering of people at a random spot could only spell disaster. As such, the girls were hoping for the best but feared the worst. Reaching where you were, they were greeted by a not very welcoming sight. Their worst fears were coming true as they stared at the scene in front of them: an unconscious Ning who was being watched over by an anxious you.

The girls were feeling all kinds of emotions; Karina who was clearly taken aback by the sudden situation but remained composed to help you; Giselle who was shocked to see Ning in such a state and Winter who was horrified to see Ning unresponsive, standing frozen in place and unsure of how to react to what was happening. Regardless of the various reactions the girls had, one thing was for sure. All of them were worried about Ning's safety and terrified thinking about what was to come of this accident.

Soon after, a faint but obvious sound of sirens rang through the hallways, signalling the arrival of the ambulance. Within seconds, a group of medics came rushing through the door to where you were, swiftly evacuating Ning on a stretcher to the nearest hospital.

"Please inform your manager that I'll be taking care of Ning for now. You girls should wrap up the remaining activities for the day and head back to the hotel. It's been a long day. Get some rest if you can. I'll update everyone on Ning's condition in the group chat. See you girls soon. Good night." You said before quickly waving the girls goodbye and hopping onto the ambulance to accompany Ning.

Before the girls could comprehend what just happened, you vanished from their sight. Slowly, the crowd started to disperse as everyone resumed what they were doing before the accident, leaving the girls still standing at the scene. The mood in the room was tense as the girls struggled to get a grip on themselves. Being the responsible leader she was, Karina knew she had to step up and do something to lighten up the atmosphere or at least try to even though she was just as lost as them regarding the matter at hand.

"I know Ning fainted and that's a pretty big deal but let's just try to have positive thoughts, ok? It's possible that Ning's condition might not be that bad after all. There's a chance she fainted suddenly due to malnutrition. We saw her skipping breakfast and eating very little for lunch, right? Let's not get ahead of ourselves and wait for any updates on her condition."

With that, Karina forced a smile, trying to hide her worries about Ning and keep her cool as the girls seemed to be slightly more relaxed after some reassurance from the leader.
