Summary: adventures of baker karina with you. Part 3 coming soon.

Today was the opening day of the bakery. Honestly, you didn't know what to expect. There might be a lot of customers and you were pretty nervous at the thought of serving all of them.

Agreeing to be the store manager probably wasn't one of the brightest ideas you had in a while. Jimin immediately noticed your expression and could tell what you were thinking.

You calmed down a little after she assured you that everything was going to be fine. In the worst case scenario, she was ready to help you out at a moment's notice.

After hearing Jimin's words, you figured she was worried about you. She always was. The last thing you wanted right now was to be a burden to her.

She had other matters that required her attention like baking different types of bread so that customers had a selection to choose from.

Jimin was in the kitchen wearing her baker attire, being all bubbly and determined. She was excited to achieve her long awaited dream. You were excited for her too.

You were going to do your very best so that the bakery has a successful opening. For yourself. For Jimin.

The sign outside the bakery was turned to the other side. The words "Open For Business" written on it clearly displayed to the numerous people passing by.

As Jimin and you waited expectantly for the bakery's first customer, you turned your head to take a quick glance at her through the glass partition separating the kitchen and the counter. She was visibly shivering. A huge contrast from how she was acting just minutes ago.

You couldn't tell if it was due to the sheer amount of excitement she was experiencing or the anxiety starting to kick in.

It's probably just excitement. Jimin was never the type to be anxious in any circumstance. However, today was a big day for her. One could never be too sure.

Now it was your turn to worry for Jimin. What if no one visited the bakery? What if all the bread she baked wasn't selling? Then all her efforts would have gone to waste.

While you were overthinking things, Jimin shifted her gaze from the door towards you. She smiled as your eyes met hers. You could tell she was feigning it.

Jimin always had a radiant smile. One that made her eyes sparkle like the stars in the sky. One that made you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

This smile was different. Jimin was definitely hiding her nervousness, acting like nothing was wrong. She had to, so that you could inherit her positive energy.

Acting more bubbly than usual was a front to look tough. Imagine what the mood in the bakery would be like if Jimin was acting the same way as you did.

You felt the obligation to cheer her up and lighten the mood. Just like how she always did for you whenever you were feeling down.

"Fighting! Yu Ji Min is the best! You can do it!" Those were the words you mouthed to Jimin whose eyes widened upon understanding what you were trying to say.

A beaming smile appeared on her face. The kind you loved seeing. She mouthed back a simple “you too”. How fortunate she was to have you by her side following every step she took.

While you two were having your little moment, the doorbell rung. The bakery’s first customer has stepped in.

“Good morning. Welcome to Jimin’s Boulangerie.” You warmly greeted the person as the customer wandered around to browse the bakery’s selection.
