Summary: baker karina has an argument with you
Recently, Jimin was always in a foul mood. Scolding you for little mistakes. Yelling at customers that were taking their time to hurry up.
She was scary to the point that you were afraid of doing anything that might offend her. You wanted to talk to her about it but she would always refuse, stating that she was busy and there was no time. When it was near closing time, she would simply leave you behind to close up the store.
You were hoping that her sudden change in behaviour was temporary but it has been weeks since then and you saw no improvement. In fact, it was getting from bad to worse.
You had a clue as to why Jimin was acting the way she did but you weren't certain.
It all started a while back when a rival bakery opened up nearby. At first, Jimin was slightly worried about the sudden appearance of competition but you managed to calm her down.
You told her to focus on baking and nothing else. You two would do your thing and let nature take its course.
However, that only lasted a few days. As Jimin saw the rival bakery having snaking queues, she felt the need to invent new varieties of bread. She would spend the whole day raking her brains to come up with her creations while occasionally refilling the bread supply.
You tried to warn Jimin about the obsession she was developing but she simply brushed it off. Within days, she was engrossed in her work of trying to create the perfect product.
She was neglecting everything around her. Her health. Her family. Her friends, including you. It was getting really unhealthy.
Jimin was lost in her own world. You tried to offer the help she needed but she told you to mind your own business. Something you could never imagine her saying.
The only thing you could do for her was to silently stay by her side. Managing the store and doing your very best at serving the customers.
*timeskip*
Another week had passed since Jimin's change in behaviour. You entered the store carrying the constant hope that today was the day Jimin finally came to her senses. You saw Jimin in the kitchen doing her own thing, trapped in her own world.
You missed the old Jimin. The girl that cheerfully greeted you when she saw you. The girl that sent morning and night texts everyday without fail. The girl that cared for everyone around her, including the customers. You had to do something to get her old self back so you stepped into the kitchen to confront her.
"Jimin, we need to talk."
"not now, i'm busy."
You were getting tired of her excuses. She didn't even spare you a glance when you were talking to her. Walking over to her, you stopped in front of her.
"go away, you are blocking me and being a distraction."
"Why did you become like this? I mean I know the reason why but must you face it all alone? You could have just asked me for help. I thought that's what friends do. Am I that big of a distraction?
Upon hearing what you said, something in Jimin finally snapped.
"Yes, you are the biggest distraction in my life. You are constantly annoying me and being utterly useless. Here I am doing my best baking bread and inventing new products. There you are taking your own sweet time serving customers and fooling around."
"Fine. Since I am useless and such a distraction to you, I should just leave."
"Sounds good to me. Not like I needed you here anyways. I'll manage just fine without you. Leave and never come back.

RomanceA figment of my imagination. Love all the girls equally, just a little more in the case of karina. Mainly write about Karina. Happy endings only because life is tough enough. All characters depicted are not indicative of the real person.
