COBRA KAI: The Way of the Fist (Prequel to "COBRA KAI: Clash of the Five Dojos")

CHAPTER 1: "Pilot."

Before the Karate War, before Miyagi-Do, Cobra Kai, Eagle Fang and the other dojos, there was peace and harmony. Until Kim Sung-Yung came along. He was a very dangerous man who was building an empire. He started teaching Tang Soo-Do to many American soldiers but many of his students have failed due to his enemy. Chōjun Miyagi of Miyagi-Do defeated his students with his own and won every battle so far. 

In the year 1966, two of Miyagi-Do’s best students became Senseis and began teaching their own classes. Nariyoshi Miyagi (Young Mr. Miyagi) was teaching his way of Miyagi-Do; the calm and peaceful way. Sato Toguchi (Young Sato) was teaching his group of students in a more aggressive way. Even though they were raised by the same sensei, they had their huge differences between offense and defense. After a long day of their classes, they finally let their students leave for the evening. The students bow to their senseis and leave. “Sato. You are too harsh on students. Must cut them slack sometime.” Nariyoshi said to his best friend. “If we don’t be hard on them, they will die in fight.” Sato said, with a low growl. “Let’s see father.” Nariyoshi said in Japanese. The two arrive at the Miyagi shrine and see their teacher, Chōjun Miyagi. They bow and sit in front of him. “How was class today, boys.” he asked the two in Japanese. “Sato is still being hard on the students and I feel that they are going to leave the dojo pretty soon if he keeps it up.” Nariyoshi replied in Japanese.
“Well, I need you both to put your differences aside because I have a guest coming tomorrow. I need you on your best behaviors when he’s here. Understood?” Chōjun asked. “HAI!” Nariyoshi and Sato answered and then were dismissed from the Miyagi shrine. As they walked through Tomi Village, a familiar woman approached the two Miyagi-Dos. “Nariyoshi-san! Sato-san!” The girls, Yukie, said their names. They both stop walking to have a conversation with the girl who they both were secretly in love with.
