COBRA KAI: The Way of the Fist (Prequel to "COBRA KAI: Clash of the Five Dojos")

CHAPTER 7: "The Alliance (Part 2)."

The two Miyagi-Dos finally made it into Beijing. They followed the address on the letter and finally found the home that they were looking for. They knock on the door and the door opens, revealing a man named Han; or what everyone in the neighborhood calls him, Mr. Han. “Han?” Nariyoshi asked. “Yes?” Han asked, confused. “We have come here for your help.” Sato got straight to the point. “Sorry. If this is advertisement, then I’m not interested.” Han said and tried to close the door but Nariyoshi stopped it with his foot and showed Han the picture of Chojun and Han’s father. Han’s eyes went wide and snatched the photo out of Nariyoshi’s hand. 

“Where did you get this?” Han asked. “That’s our teacher. My father.” Nariyoshi answered, pointing at himself and Sato. “Your teacher is Chojun Miyagi?” Han asked, very surprised. They nod their hands in response. “Come in.” Han leads the gentlemen inside his home and pours them each a cup of tea. “How do you know about father?” Sato asked, taking a sip of his tea. “My father told me stories of your teacher. He told me how even though one of them knew kung fu and the other knew karate, they only used their skills for defense only. Despite having different martial art styles.” Han explained. “Sounds like father.” Nariyoshi said toward Sato. “You two still haven’t told me why you two are here in Beijing, China.” Han pointed out the Miyagi-Dos. “Father sent us to find you and ask for help.” Sato said, leaving Han even more curious than before. “Help you with what?” Han questioned. “There is Tang Soo-Do master in South Korea who attacked father. Since your father friends with ours, he told us to come find you and help us in a Karate War.” Nariyoshi answered. “It’s about a Tang Soo-Do master, and he’s a leader of the Way of the Fist?” Han asked. The Miyagi-Dos nod their heads and Han puts his cup of tea down on the coffee table. “Okay. I will help you in this war. For you and our father’s.” He told them which made them very glad that he was giving them his help.
