Chapter 34. Sticky

Ivy

Days have passed and Lorenzo his wounds are healing good but very slow. He tries to do a lot even though he has to be on bed rest. I love how he always wants to be active, but this is not one of those moments since he still has to recover.

It's still very early, it's around 10 o'clock. Yess I find that very early lol. We already ate breakfast, Athena's famous focaccia.

"I enjoyed every bit of my breakfast Athena, thank you" I thank Athena with a huge smile on my face. Athena opens her arms and goes in for a hug "nessun problema tesoro" (no problem sweetheart).

Dami and Lorenzo join me and Athena downstairs with Sharky and Drew following them. "Hi baby" I run towards sharky. Both lorenzo and Dami opened their arms thinking I was running to them going in for a hug.

I mean sure- I was running towards them but I gotta give my furry baby some morning kisses and cuddles first. Only then I can greet Tom and Jerry, since Dami and Lorenzo really acting like those two sometimes. So I think it's a fitting nickname for them.

Dami pokes Lorenzo with his elbow while looking down at me cuddling Sharky, "Damn Enzo she just ditched you bro". Typical Dami smh. "Shut up because I also saw you opening your arms thinking she was running towards you, stupido".

Guess what. They start fighting, again. Just like two little kids, Athena yells at them whilst separating them "RAGAZZI SMETTILA" (Boys cut it out).

I open the door to the garden and run outside barefoot with Sharky following me. Sharky found a stick so we played fetch for a while, not knowing Lorenzo standing in the doorway with his arms crossed and the cutest little smirk.

Lorenzo

I am so in love with this girl. She's still in her pajamas. She's wearing comfy shorts an oversized cropped top that's a little over her shoulder, and her perfect little curls in a messy bun.

Seeing her being, the happiest girl she has been in these past few days. The previous days were a little hectic but it's slowly turning back to how it used to be.

I scream trying to get her attention "Hey baby" , and she gives me a quick glance while running away from Sharky. She's so adorable. Here she comes running towards me.

Ivy

"C'mon Sharky let's go to papà" and we run towards Lorenzo. As soon as I'm close to Lorenzo I go in for a hug as I squeeze him very tight and I ask him "Hi baby how are you feeling".

He pulls back after a few seconds and answers "I'm feeling much better" before he plants a little kiss on my forehead. He cups my face as he's making me look up so I look him right in his eyes.

He looks at my hand that's holding the stick, then he meets my eyes. "Iv I know how much Sharky loves that stick but we have to get him some toys for outside, I don't want you using that dirty stick"

I pout. "What's wrong with sticky" Lorenzo looks at me very confused not knowing who I'm talking about. "You did not just name that stick did you" he asks me and I look at him scrunching my face answering his question "Maybe I did". He sighs "Get ready we're leaving in an hour".

I open the bedroom door and see that Lorenzo put an outfit together and layed it on the bed for me. I'm wearing my YSL heels, my red Fenty lipstick and an outfit, hugging my curves in all the right spots, to match.

I walk down the stairs and there is Dami, "Gurll where are you going" he asks me with a sassy voice. "That's non of your business mr. Nosy" I hear a voice behind me answering before I even opened my mouth. There you have Lorenzo wearing a suit looking very fancy, and I still have no clue where we are going.

We leave home and get to the garage. Lorenzo opens the passenger door for me as he waits for me to get in. Today we're going with his matte black Lamborghini. "So when are you planning on telling me where we are going" I ask him as he lifts an eyebrow while he drives off.

We arrive at a huge aquarium. I see nobody here which is very strange. We are at the register and the lady tells us that the whole aquarium has closed that day just for us. He has his left hand resting on the left side of my hip as we walk in. I'm low-key kind of shivering due to the lack of clothing, and I don't want him to notice but he does.

He puts he blazer over my shoulder, and we stop walking. He looks me in my eyes as he cups my cheeks with his hands:

"Ivy on this day I saw you walking into my favourite cafe with exactly this outfit, I remember it so well. How can I forget? The first thing you did was cuss me out. But also because I am obsessed with and everything you do. I enjoy reminiscing everything we went through. Our road has been a little rocky from the start, and we most definitely hit rock bottom once-"

He chuckles to himself and continues. "but I'm very grateful for the state where we are in right now. I promise I will be there for you always and forever "

Lorenzo opens a box with a beautiful heart shaped ring inside. He continues with the following question:

"Ivy will you take this promise ring as a symbol of our love and that I will always return to you."

I smile at his proposal. "Are you really promiseposing right now." I say laughing and he nods. "Yes and give me an answer woman you're killing me."

I put my index finger and make it look like I'm thinking "hmmm I don't know yet Lorenzo Matteo Giovanni". He gave me a look that I've never seen before, he looked scared for once.

Okay enough games let's just answer the man's question "Ofcourse baby, ti amo, ti amo, ti amo!" I tell him with lots of excitement. I jump into his arms with my arms wrapped around his neck as I load him with kisses all over his face.

No worriess my red Fenty lipstick is transfer proof so he's safe.

We ended the night at home and go to our bedroom, after we ate Athena's marvelous dinner. I open the bedroom door and see that our room is completely decorated, "aww baby you did all of this for me" I say with a high pitched voice.

He looks at me with the biggest smile. I look at him "now what if I said no" and I gave him an evil little smile. He tilts my chin "oh really, you Ivy Rosalía Thea.. would say no?" and tops it off with a smirk.

"You know me all too well Lorenzo, I don't know what I would be doing without you" and I give him one little peck.
