Luz POV:

After waving bye I turn around to Eda and hug her. "Eda I missed you so much." I then hear my mama chime in. "Luz you literally saw them last week."
I blow a raspberry at her and set king down.

"So, now what?" I ask looking around at all the people conversing. Hunter and Willow talking with a light blush on both their cheeks, my eyes moving back over to Eda. "Well, we said bye so that's done. Hope they don't cry to hard at that." I chuckle and shake my head at that "But! What about you Quinceañera? Eh, eh?"

"Oh yeah!" I look over to Amity talking to mom and move over to them, grabbing Amity's hand, String bean moving off my shoulder and nuzzling Amity's cheek. "Ready?"

Amity leans over and kissed my cheek, making me blush. "Ready!" She said blown on the small piece of hair on her forehead, smiling.

Everyone makes their way back down the hill, me, amity and my mom talking while I hold amity's hand, rubbing it with my thumb. Looking up from our hands I see Willow and Hunter walking a few feet in front of us. Hunter talking with his hand as Willow looks at him with a blush on her cheeks and small flower sprouting from where she was walking.

I nudge amity's shoulder and point it out to her as we both chuckle then she goes back to talk to my mom. Looking over to the left I can see Gus and Matt walking, Gus messing with him by conjuring clones of himself making them walk around Matt, teasing him. Making Matt blush he slaps his hand at all the clones before pushing the real Gus and turning his head away, smiling with a darker blush on his cheeks.

I smile at them before looking back over to Amity and smiling I squeeze her hand three times, making her look at me with a confused look as a just smile at her.

The crowed all stops around the portal and tables, conversations starting from multiple places and groups. The rest of the hex squad + Matt walk up to us, Willow putting her head on Hunter's shoulder as she smiles. "So Luz, how about we celebrate your party already!" Willow says as she lifts her head off hunters shoulder and grabs my free hand pulling me over to the tables with food on them.

I laugh as I pull Amity along with me and the rest of the squad following us, I look up seeing the miss-spelt text and laugh at it with a smile. "I think I'm going to like college here." I look back at Amity and kiss her cheek. Looking back down at the cake with spiders on it and a piece missing. "Oh yum, spider cake!" I turn back to the Hex-squad with a smile and just enjoy the moment.

A few hours later

After finishing my mother daughter dance I walk over to the chairs and table and put my hands on my face and wipe away my tears, my mama coming up behind me and hugging me. "Te amo Mija." I cry a little harder as I hug her back. "Te amo tambian mama." I back up while I wipe my face and laugh. "It all feels so surreal, time just flew by so fast." I say putting my arms across my chest. "I'm gonna miss what it felt like being here for the first time, but I think I'm going to like this much more." I say taking a deep breath and smiling

"Oh, Mija." My mom says stepping closer and pulling me into one more hug, I chuckle through a cry making a weird hiccup sound. "Mama, I'm okay I promise." I say squeezing her one last time before back up and smile, I look over her shoulder seeing someone walk over, Amity.

"Hey Luz! Hey Camila!" She says with a smile, I notice she doesn't have her glove on our her small tank of abomination "I just had a question for Luz." She say stopping with her hands by her side doing a small wave. I tilt my head at her curious, a small blush raising in her cheeks.

"Oh of course! I'll be by the tables if you need me." My mom says before walking off toward the table and waving at Alador and Darius.

"So what is it Amms?" I say tilting my head again. "Hmm, hold on let's go somewhere else." She says before looking around grabbing my hand and walking off in a direction. I giggle at her before walking fast to catch up to her side. "Alright Blight." I say in a joking tone while nudging her.

We walk for a bit enjoying the peaceful silence, I then suddenly feel warm hand go across my eyes. "Am? What are you doing?" I say laughing slightly and putting my hand on top of hers. "Stopp, nooo don't take your hand off you'll ruin the surprise." I laugh at her again before walking with her pulling my hand to the right and pausing.

She takes her hand off my face and my eyes widen as I spin and look around. "Oh Ams! It's so pretty!" I say looking back at her and picking her up while laughing and spinning. She laughs along with me before I set her down. "I know we only ever came her on Grom nights but this is special too." She says resting her hand on the right side of my face.

"Your adorable, you know that?" I say putting my hands around her neck and smile. "Oh shut up." She says with a slight blush and looking away, taking her hand off my face. "Hey wait." I put my hand on her face and pull it to face me. She looks at me and leans into my hand and smiling before standing up and backing up holding a hand out.

"Luz Noceda, will you have this dance with me?" She says with a tomato red face and looking at the ground. I feel my own face heating up as I step forward and smile taking her hand and pulling her towards me before I start slowly dancing side to side.

She stiffens up before relaxing and putting her arms around my waist hugging me as we slowly moved side to side. We stay there for a few minutes, enjoying the silence and each others company. I slowly pull away and grab one of her hands pulling it up, confusing the Blight. I smile and I spin her around before putting my arms back around her neck and smiling.

She looks at me and just smiles back before putting her hand on my cheek and giving me a small peck before pulling back and putting her head on my shoulder. We stay there for a bit longer before deciding to head back. Laughing and joking the inter way back.
