Eda POV:

I yawn as I our my hand up to my eye and rub them, looking down seeing Raine sleeping on me. I smile as I put my hand onto their head and mess with their hair. Shifting in their sleep they look up and blink a few times, reaching their hand out towards their glasses. I chuckled at this and reach my hook over, hooking their glasses and dangling them in front of them.

"Thanks Eda." Raine said as they grab them and put them on, starting to blush as they realized how they were laying. "Oh- sorry for falling asleep here last night, I just meant to hang out for a bit." I smile as them and out my hand on their face. "Rainstorm, you know I don't mind your company. We're together after all." Making them blush again. "I know I just don't wanna intrude." I smile at them again before kissing their forehead. "Never have, never will." I said with a toothy grin.

Hiding their face in their hands I laugh at them before getting up. "Don't we have that hang out with Camila today? At the Owl House?" I nod. "Yeah we do, which means we need to go now and set up." I say turning around looking at my partner. "Don't we have the inter day?" They said standing up and walking over to me. "Yeah but doesn't hurt to be early, plus I would be lying if I said I didn't miss it." I look down at them and put my hand on their face, doing the thumb thing.

They lean onto my hand and put their hand onto mine. "What if we got married?" I said with a smile. "WHAT?!" They yelled backing up and falling, a thumb as they hit the ground. I walk over and stick my hook out. "Yeah! Let's get married!" I said as they grab my hook, pulling Raine up. "Are- are you sure?" They said stuttering while being bright red. "Yeah! We don't need rings, I don't have my right hand either way. What if we switched earrings." I said smiling at them and doing a spin. "I- I'm yeah that could work." Raine said putting a hand on the back of their neck rubbing it.

I back up and take my earrings out of my ear and get on my knee. "Raine Whispers, will you marry me." I said with a toothy smile. "RIGHT NOW!?" They yelled again, I nod my head sternly. They pause for a few seconds before taking their earring off too. "Yes, I will marry you Eda Clawthorn." I stand up smiling and walking over I carefully put their new earrings on. I bend down allowing them to put mine on, I stand up straight and look at them. I put my hand on their cheek and give my lover a kiss.

Putting their hand over mind we stay there for a few seconds before backing away. "That just happened." They said putting a hand onto their mouth, I nod in agreement. "Yep! It did. Now, shall we get going my lover?" I put my elbow out with a smile, Raine smiling back and hooking their arm through mine. I swing the door open and step out taking a big deep breath of fresh air. "Wonderful day isn't it!" I said looking down at raine, getting a nod in return. I hold my hand out, owlbert flying into my hand.

"Gonna ride right me or yourself?" I say looking down. "Hm, I'm gonna ride my pailsmin." They said pulling the fox shaped piece of wood out of their pocket and turning it into a staff. I sit on owlbert and smirk with an idea. "Wanna race?" I say looking at them with a smug grin. "Aren't we a little to old for that?" They said raising an eyebrow. "Never to old for some fun." They blinked a few times before taking off. "CHEATER!" I yelled at them trying to catch up.

I race after them, catching up I glare as they look over with an innocent smile. "You cheated." They raised an eyebrow at me. "When have you ever been against cheating?" I open my mouth to talk but close it, I look down at their staff then back up at them. "Oh yeah rainstorm?" They look at me with shocked eyes. "You wouldn't." I smirk. " I would." I kick my foot out, suddenly they come to a stop mid air. I start spinning out of control, finally getting my staff straight I see them fly past.

"Fuck." I said speeding up, seeing the Owl House in sight I change OwlBert into himself as I change into my harpy form, flying right past Raine. "Hey!" I heat them yell distantly as I land on the ground. They land shortly after and change their pailsmin, setting it on their shoulder. "Asshole." Raine said punching my arm. "You love me." I said jumping up and opening the giant eye window. "I do." They said taking my hand, I jump up again and go into the window, closing it behind us. "Why did we show up so early." Raine said turning as they walk backwards.
